arv95
Just dropping a few players is not going to bring about a change. Dhoni, the captain, needs to go. Even after being outplayed in the last 5 ODI's overseas, he goes on to say that the ppl are happy in the dressing room He has become totally defensive and his tactics to chase each and every game is ridiculous. It just shows the confidence he has got on his bowlers and expects the batters to step-up and score whatever runs is put at them.
TAZ
I think yuvraj should be given as much chances as rohit and ishant are given... And it would have been very difficult to win both the T20 & '11 WC if he wasn't in the team, his contributions won us both the wc's.. He deserves at least another 5-7 matches... He is the best batsmen at no:5 india has.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited January 23, 2014 by TAZ
Chewie
sorry, yuvi's past it. am a fan but it's clear that just like sehwag his reflexes have slown with age. both always had technical issues but they could get around it earlier but now time has caught up. yuvi kind of batsmen will be sitting duck in '15 WC. we have plenty of exciting young batsmen who deserve a chance. better to look forward than behind. samson, zol etc.. now's the time to blood them so they get experience before the WC. but then we need a strong selection commitee who's ready to put their foot down against our stubborn captain it's the bowlers where we have major issues

pixeljunkie
Well well well...BCCI holds international cricket for ransom by refusing participation in ICC events unless ICC agrees to restructuring
Big Boss
BCCI rocks. BTW that Raina story sure sounds fake. So Rayudu will play. Ashwin should injure his a*s and Binny should come in.

silentassassin
Yup...until you realize the obscene way ticket prices for a cricket match soar... Most of the revenue to ICC comes from BCCI , ECB and CA.. But the revenue is split equally among all the 9 / 10 test playing nations.. Its kinda fair for BCCI to ask more share.. Big Boss
BCCI rocks. Yup...until you realize the obscene way ticket prices for a cricket match soar... Well I don't watch matches in stadium. And if it becomes costly, people will vote with their waller. And why will prices increase if BCCI has its way? Is there anyone even giving a f**k about ticket prices in all this controversial restructuring of ICC. People are worried about monopoly etc. I have not seen anyone worried about ticket prices
silentassassin
n moreover ICC has no say in ticket prices in normal matches.. They may control it during ICC events.. Rest matches the tickets are decided by the host board..

But the revenue is split equally among all the 9 / 10 test playing nations.. Its kinda fair for BCCI to ask more share.. In reality 80% of ICC's revenue should go to BCCI... But...majority of India's loyal cricket fans can't afford a good stadium seat... Heh...the only cause that deserved our blind loyalty was the freedom movement Well I don't watch matches in stadium. And if it becomes costly, people will vote with their waller. And why will prices increase if BCCI has its way? Is there anyone even giving a f**k about ticket prices in all this controversial restructuring of ICC. People are worried about monopoly etc. I have not seen anyone worried about ticket prices Indian cricket fans need to have their loyalty rewarded. BCCI is where it is because of loyal fans. If BCCI cannot guarantee that then what point is there in any of us watching cricket? Ensuring ticket prices remain cheap is one way of awarding Indian cricket fans for their loyalty. Before someone argues that we can't fit 1.2B people into a cricket stadium and hence ticket prices aren't a concern, let me say that this is more about not crushing the spirit of Indian cricket fans. Big Boss
lol I have never heard of people worried about ticket prices. It is a first for me. From what I know, IPL tickets are priced reasonably. People only complain about less number of tickets available for general public and tough security measures. Bhai 400 rs me tickets milte hai. It is less than what a new movies costs in one show. Even auto walahs can go and watch it if they want. If you want to buy those luxury tickets for 400, then tough luck.
