Australia still have a chance. Bangla will have to defeat Pakistan. Pakistan will then have to defeat West Indies. All 3 teams will then be tied on points and it will come down to NRR. The difference is huge.. IF pakistan wins and qualifies then there is a chance that we might have better NRR.. If they win then they might qualify depending on other results as that group is still very much open & If they lose then they are definitely out as NZ & England will also end up at 4 points with one game to play.. Yeah....such decisions should be taken without much thought isnt it???? And why exactly should he have quit earlier??? Anyways....just saw the highlights of the first T20 world cup that India won, and it made me realize what an awesome Captain Dhoni has been. Won the T20 world cup, won the ODI World Cup, Took us to No.1 ranking, Won the ICC Champions Trophy and that too in England! The team that we have had (hate them or not) is really a dream team to have and each individual on their own day can win you matches single handedly. Besides this, one should have no doubt that Dhoni enjoyed the clout due to strong connection with Fatso. His position as the Cricket captain remain unchallenged despite continuous series losses overseas. He has been given open hand in team selection. Same time a bunch of CSK players keep finding place in Indian team despite ordinary performances. All this cannot be possible without the ashir-wad of fatso. On the same time taking panga with Srini meant all his fortunes taken away from him, the fear of lord de rot! With Srini dismissed and no chance of him coming to top-spot once baton is passed from Sunny to a properly elected prez, Dhoni has finally grown the spine to speak out.
