AtheK
i would pick m.pandey if sehwag was not there 2 reasons he is in form , performed well and he is a opener as well m.pandey has been woeful in this IPL season... the only reason they went with Vijay over uthappa i think is because he is an opener, we don't have any other specialist opener in the team or else... silentassassin
Vijay is a rite choice for a opener... Manish Pandey had a very good Domestic season..infact excellent season..but failed in IPL... i think We shud'nt play yusuf pathan in the playing 11... All bowlers r now exploiting his weakness to bouncers...
AtheK
ya yusuf pathan is actually afridi mould batsman...i would rate Irfan pathan above him anyday...

shockwave
ya yusuf pathan is actually afridi mould batsman...i would rate Irfan pathan above him anyday... Yup. I.Pathan has much more class in batting. And he bowls decent too. (sometimes anyway)
Cash
I.Pathan is better anyday than Y.P but the fact is that he just performs sometimes very rarely instead yusuf is always a back up for the indian batting side.. and picking Vijay instead of Uthappa is a very good move imo as Vijay has performed Very well in this IPL with a decent SR and a Decent Avg but we cant really rely much on Uthappa.. @ -Ve Ganguly pointer What do you expect ganguly to do?! huh strike every single ball without considering what his team will do without a batsmen like gayle is doing?! huh?? He is the captain man he need to play tactically and play to the expectation of every single fan of KKR!! Please do Under Estimate him when he played the best cricket he could in this IPL.. godspeed4476
Goin to watch the semi`s tommo live....lets hope its a good game! which stand? +1 to others, Irfan is better than Yusuf. Yusuf is only an IPL phenomenon and in tht too he failed this time, except for Mumbai match he did not play any other innings tht well. and I might add , we might have just lost the T20WC. Sehwag and Gambhir opening in any format of the game is a fun to watch, dont know if Vijay would be able to make up for his loss. they could have selected Uthappa and promoted some1 else up the opening order. dante77
Yusuf needs to improve techniques thats for sure but I think he should play in T20. Anyways, sehwag say anything guys but sehwag IMO a great player. He is even better than yuvraj and dhoni. Yeah I think that way
silentassassin
Irfan easily better than Yusuf... Sehwag out is a big blow...But still we hv a good chance...If Yuvi , Dhoni , Gauti cme good then we can surely win.. Remember even Suresh Raina is in good form... Virat Kohli played sme very good innings in 50/50 against south Africa n Sri Lanka...I guess he even scored 2 centuries... Too bad he's not thr..He cant hit the ball long way...May be dats the reason he's out of the team... Sufyan
What has Murli Vijay done to justify his inclusion in the side except for that one freak innings? He is in the team only because of Shrikanths Chenai connection.Utthappa should have been there instead. We could have opened with Rohit and Gambhir. The team is not picked on the basis of IPL performance...They take domestic performance into consideration... Murali Vijay has been very consistent in the domestic circuit... Even Yusuf's inclusion is based on Domestic performance.. he scored sme 265 odd runs in less than 200 balls against west zone...n also sme big innings..he has'nt been picked bcoz of his century against MI... I totally agree with you. Even after being the batsman with the second highest dot-ball ratio he managed scores like 75 of 50 and 89 of 53. So yeah, he had to play according to the situation specially when the other reputed batsmen were under-performing.

This is so so wrong, they just tell they look upon domestic cricket for reference just to make others think IPL isnt that important to the indian cricket cenre in international cricket.. but do you seriously think they dont look upon the IPL performance?? silentassassin
Sachin out I'm nt saying They don take IPL into consideration...but consider Domestic cricket more.... Vijay has performed well in domestic cricket 4m 2 or 3 years..
