Probably not under Dhoni's captaincy anymore anyways. I don't mind ODI wins though (excellent ownage from Rahane/Dhawan), here's hoping by some miracle we defend the cup next year. Chewie Posted September 2, 2014 Report Share Posted September 2, 2014 (edited) moeen ali is really the bearded raina in england shirt. dhawal started really well, bowling almost test match full length but then started spraying it around. hope it was just nerves & he gets some more chances. but what is it with all these tall indian pacers bowling at 130kmph hope we try some new guys in next match. especially karn. also umesh should be brought in & bhuvi rested. for brief period when moeen was going we didnt seem to have an answer & we need someone with extra pace. am not a big fan of mohit sharma. he really doesnt have anything - pace/swing, nothing... so 3 seamers in WC should prob'ly be bhuvi, shami & umesh if rahane & nohit are both in XI then feel that rahane should open & nohit should be in middle order. rahane has technqiue for opening in Aus, while nohit as opener seems to be playing for critics ie he deliberately plays dot balls so if he gets out after making say 5 from 35 balls then he cant be criticised for throwing it away. also hope we give m tiwary a good shot in next series. there might be times in WC where playing 2 spinner all rounders will not be feasible. so if we have tiwary he & raina can bowl those 8-10 overs between them & we have a regular batsman too then Edited September 2, 2014 by Chewie Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
