Its already illegal if you change stance before bowler balls. You are allowed to switch hit if you switch when bowler is in delivery stride. Also, switch hit requires more skill than conventional batting and not everyone can pull it off. What Warner did against Pakistan was well within the laws: MCC’s Laws subcommittee discussed the matter in detail in 2010. We decided that the batsman may switch his grip or stance once the bowler’s back foot had landed in his delivery stride. The whole series is without any context. Would have been better if they gave players ome rest and then sent them early to Australia to play for some of the First class sides so that they get accustomed to the conditions. I'm expecting Rahane to perform better than most of the other batsman as Mumbai pitch has more life and bounce than tradional indian pitches. Thus he should be able to handle bounce better.
