So where are the Chuna fans now. Still want him in the side ? A pair on the flattest wicket possible. Wish he'd played at Gabba that would've been comedy gold

If that's not the final nail in the coffin I don't know what can be

In retrospect if we'd shut shop in first test after chodit had got out and managed a draw then a 0~~1 score line wouldn't have been bad given our bowling attack

Bhuvi brings so much the team ...

I never supported Raina's inclusion for the Test squad but his selection in the 4th Test was very harsh and ended up hurting him. First of all Raina was never a long term replacement for the guy he came in for - Pujara. This was more like a "we've already lost the series so why don't we let them play" decision from Virat when he brought in both Rohit and Raina.

For Raina to even be considered for the next Test he would have to do something very big. Not very surprisingly it ended in spectacular failure. I always support a long uninterrupted run of matches for players to prove themselves (atleast 3-4) but in this case I find it hard impossible to justify selecting Raina over Pujara in the next match. The only thing this selection ensured was the humiliation and the shattering of confidence of a important limited overs player who has to play again in such conditions a few weeks later. And that now Raina has played as many Tests as Shane Bond.

PS. That run-out thing was hilarious though.

sorry the thinking of including him in the squad only was BS let alone picking him in the side. his FC record against mediocre bowlers isn't anything much, he's had a fair run in the past & failed miserably

more then anything he doesn't have the game. however poorly pujara has done he at least has the game for tests. Even chodit if he can get his mind right has a chance but chuna no way.

He was dropped after failing miserably in odi's in S.A. & Nz so I wouldn't hold my breath on him doing well here either

That's what I'm saying, he should never have been selected. Should have just let him sit out with dignity instead of facing this nightmare.

for me the best batsman by far over this last year has been Vijay considering that he faces the new ball & fresh bowlers. he's been good against pace, bounce, swing & against spinners.

second is rahane. averaging 48 on yr first tours abroad is brilliant. if we had drs he would've averaged 55+

third is virat. Still has question mark is on spicier wickets though

Well. Not i like but....

Raina will get exposed in Oz.

He doesn't have dum to build an inning and capitalize.

He is just good for those 40-50 odd run bursts.

Lets see...

And that is his predominant role in ODI

^^ Nice.

Also HBD Wall D. Where has he gone, i think we really need to get back Wall D, Dada and SRT back in dressing room in some capacity. Ravi Shastri Looks great with the team. I would personally want Wall D to take over coach of team from FLUCKtcher.
