Chewie Posted March 23, 2015 Report Share Posted March 23, 2015 (edited) to all those saying India havent been tested - maybe they are playing so well that they were head & shoulders above their opponents & thats why they havent been tested. if it was Oz or SA that would've performed like that many here would have been jacking off on them saying how they are the best team in the world ever & how they'll beat all others to pulp & how they deserve to win because they are playing so well. but since it's india... with fans like these.. the only team that has competed with india in terms of playing complete cricket are oz & nz & both are playing at home & btw i disagree India havent been tested. actually they were tested at some points by the weaker teams they faced (maybe because they took them slightly easy ?) but every time some one stood up for the team & took them to a win. against WI & Zim many teams (esp the so called faves, the chokers) would've choked the situation india found themselves in fact is we've never been bowled out once in the tournament, have taken all wickets in all the games *touch wood* & yet only 1 indian is in top 5 of batting/bowling lists which shows that its been team work that has gotten us this far. I'm calling an Aus vs SA final too. I don't think India will win against Australia. Their team looks too good. India's form is inflated because of how weak Pool B was. Though if Australia wins the final again, I'm just going to stop watching cricket for a while. Saffers please win it this time. so India's form is inflated because of a "weak pool". what does that say about the team that lost 2 games in it & have till now only won games against the associates & weakest test teams in the competition? Chewie Posted March 23, 2015 Report Share Posted March 23, 2015 (edited) coming to tom's match i think it's 80-20 in Nz's favor. in auckland team batting 2nd has won all matches, except for the SA-Pak match. so toss wont be that crucial esp for NZ NZ batsmen have all been amongst runs & their bowling in those conditions beats SA's hands down. infact overall they have the best attack in the comp, even better than oz. the only SA bowler that could've troubled NZ (tahir) wont be that effective on that ground because of the pitch & the ground dimensions SA also dont have a 5th bowler. abd & duminy bowling 10 overs is like if India were to bowl 10 overs of virat & raina SA have gone 1 KO match ahead than they ever have. it's now NZ's time to do the same..
