Chewie Posted March 23, 2015 Report Share Posted March 23, 2015 ok, qs for you guys.. so far this WC our bowlers' success has been due to short ball/back-of-length tactic now while this worked well against weak teams like Pak/SA/WI will it work against Oz who are born & brought up on that? they'll be prepared for this tactic of India, just camp on the back foot & play their shots i hope team mgmt comes up with alternative plans otherwise things might go the way of the gabba test against MJ surprised no team is employing tactic that SL did in wt20 final. Bowl all deliveries full & wide on 7th stump just inside the guide lines, employ a 6-3 field & the best of batsmen will struggle alternatively seamers can come round the wicket & bowl short at the body of the batsman (like wahab did in the q/f to twatto) do that with 3-6 field & it cld be a attacking & run saving tactic Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When vettori took the awesome one handed catch against WI. One of this guy was like "vettori ne katori bhar ki".
