From Group Stages :- Won all Matches... (Yeah... Never faced SL/NZ/AUS) Took 60 wickets in 6 Matches (A good one, but see what happened when it mattered the most! Phuss ho gaye BC!) Batting first made 300 every occasion. (Thats actually pretty easy, Looking at the pitches, I was hoping a 400! and a 350+ looking at our Batting Giants! My A**) And the day when it mattered the most! Asli aukaat saamne aa gayi. I would have got irritated and angry if any one of our players cried today.... Definitely tears won't come as our players should know they got left right centre from the Aussies. TBH, Atleast Pak gave a good fight where I have seen fear in the face of the Aussies. Aussies made pussies of India. SA players cried bcoz they knew how close they were and blew up their chances. This match is nowhere comapared to what is called as One of the greatest Games in the WC, SF1 between SA vs NZ... The way both teams played, They deserve WC Finals.. Worthy of a Contender. Kya bola tha ABD ko sabne.. He playes only against Minnows! BC! 60 runs maara hai against NZ.. Aur Kohli kya kiya ?? Simply handed his A** to the Aussies.... Admit it guys! We never had that firepower to chase 300 when it mattered the most! unlike NZ/SA and AUS. I know I was bit harsh today, But bcoz My heart was totally supporting India even though I have voted for Australia... Somewhere I was waiting for the real opportunity where I can say this is what Team India is Likeabauss... But the way they played today. F**K. Chewie Posted March 26, 2015 Report Share Posted March 26, 2015 (edited) dhoni got emotional at the post match interview voice was breaking. never seen him like that but really in a way he's to blame which i wont get into now. just feel for him there were some tactical mistakes in this match but the biggest factor is team wasnt good enough for these conditions. tbf we're not the in top 2 in these conditions & the 2 best teams are in the final i'm telling you guys if we'd met Eng in MCG at q/f & lost the toss we might have lost there itself. we were lucky winning some imp tosses. except for Ozzies batting first is 90% of the game in Oz. in final if oz bat first 100% they'll win, if NZ bat first it's 50-50 chal koi nahi. we did a lot better than i thought we would looking at our triseries form. feel for some of the team that were 4 months away from family & home (only some though. others should never have been selected i first place) Edited March 26, 2015 by Chewie Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So many records made.. Really wish dhoni plays 2019 world cup.. Also will be cheering for NZ in the final game as they are still unbeaten in this WC, also this is their first wc finale.. I think Indian team deserves a lot of respect, they are down under from last 4 months, away from families and friends. On top of this carry expectations like no other country. 7 matches on trot isn't a joke and especially when no batsmen has been able to perform consistently.
