They should have declared earlier so that they could have had a crack at the Indian batsman in the last session yesterday. I had already mentioned before that it is impossible to get that much runs in the 5th day of a test match, specially in a South African wicket. They should have kept the target around 250 and then they would have had a better chance at winning as the Indians would have gone for their shots. Also, I hope Gambhir gets a century. The guy really deserves it as he has really fought hard in this test match. well they had to make it safe for themselves first , only then think of winning. India too would ve done the same thing. Joy Posted January 6, 2011 Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 Drawn series is what both teams deserved. , 2011 is gonna be great for Cricket, WC , series in Eng , WI and then Aus. , a bit of IPL Its all BCCI's fault , why the f**k have stuff like lengthy IPL and sh*t and cramp the calender for Ind, allow your team to go to SA a month before 1st test , play a couple of practice matches and get used to the conditions first, but no send them 2 days before 1st test and play the 1st test as a practice match and get humiliated Credit to this side which fought and came back the way they did , this is pretty much a series won for India than draw as per me.
