harsh1387
Just saw the highlights. Bumrah was magnificent. Noone deserves the hat trick more than him. Credit to Kohli for taking the review at the right moment. But, he is a terrible slip catcher. Rahul and Rahane are good ones. Can develop Aggarwal and Vihari as slip catchers. Great 100 by Vihari. Could have made a bigger one if Ishant wouldn't have lost his patience. Wtf is all coaching staff doing when they can't make Shami last more than 2 balls in every innings. I swear even Courtney Walsh was a better tail ender than Shami. Bumrah should bat 10th and Shami 11th from now on.Looks like test is in the bag that too with a innings defeat if we opt for follow on. This series will give 120 invaluable points for the championship.Sent from my SM-A505F using Tapatalk
AtheK
Also time to throw out rahul, bring back shaw and make him open with mayank. Rahul has had enough chances.

Nathan.Drake
10, 4, 0, 16, 54, 4, 13, 8, 10, 23, 36, 19, 0, 37, 149, 0, 4, 33*, 2, 44, 2, 0, 9, 44, 38, 13, 6. These are last 27 innings of KL Rahul in test cricket. Don’t know what does BCCI and Kohli see in him. for sure if Kohli had this record even his position would have been questioned by now. But until stiff behind doors is good, kohli would continue to prolong his career.

KnackChap
There is clearly a technical issue with him . He doesn't get behind the line of the ball on the front foot. Lot of Indian batsman including virat had this problem but they worked in it and rectified it. Here is a video of him batting in the under 19 match and he gets out similarly how he does even today. Shows you he learned nothing in all these years
Nathan.Drake
Did anybody notice the point system in World Test Championship? Every series is 120 points, irrespective of the number of matches. So if you play 2 test match series each match is 60 points. If you play 5 test match series, each match win get you 24 Points. And coincidentally or intentionally, India has all 2 match series Vs West Indies (Away) Vs Bangladesh (Home) Vs South Africa (Home) Vs New Zealand (Away)
AtheK
Very good win. Great performance, except KL Rahul. Kohli becomes the most successful test captain. Focus ON SA now.

Against Bangladesh we usually play only 1 or 2 tests. Even against WI at home. There's T20 WC next year, so we are playing more T20s than usual instead of tests. The test championship is for 3 years. We are playing 10 tests against England and Australia . So everything balances out. 18 minutes ago, AtheK said: Very good win. Great performance, except KL Rahul. Hopefully he'll be backed and not dropped at his 1st failure..
Black_Hawk
Mithali Raj, the veteran India batter, has announced retirement from T20 Internationals, on Tuesday (September 3). "After representing India in T20 internationals since 2006, I wish to retire from T20Is to focus my energies on readying myself for the 2021 One Day World Cup," Mithali said. "It remains my dream to win a World Cup for my country and I want to give it my best. I thank the BCCI for their continuous support and wish the Indian T20 team good luck as they prepare for the home series against South Africa Women." Banz
I think the points system still needs work. Two Test series were already a ridiculous idea but with the Test Championship they look even worse. They should have made 3 Tests the minimum length of a series. Not every country can accommodate a 3 or 5 match series. Sent from my SM-A505F using Tapatalk

It works both ways, if you lose you lose lot of points, if you win you gain lot of points in a short series. Atleast it's a start, I am sure they will fine tune it better. This is a very good start though, all test are now cruical.

We should win comfortably against SA too.Sent from my SM-A505F using Tapatalk

What it means is that India got only 60points by winning in Australia 2-1. A series win which was first for any Asian team and Australia has most gruelling conditions for visitors. its so unimaginative, there should be lesser points for home teams, lesser points for shorter series....
