He's playing really selfish cricket and just accumulating runs. Today he played so slow. Gayle was going all guns blazing. Rahul dint go after the batting at all. He did same thing against previous RR match where Tewatia smashed em. Played really slow against CSK and lost the match. Against KKR he played till the end and dint take em over the line. But if he stays till the end, he'll definitely take the team through. Bowler has to bowl a perfectly hittable delivery, and batsman has to make sure he times it perfectly. A simple turn of bat in hand, or some off the pitch movement, or somehow the wrong length etc can mess up the execution. It's baffling that people believe entire matches can be scripted. Well I commented that out of frustration. Cos how can a team win 5 in a row all of a sudden from being at the bottom of the table & How can top 3 teams start to lose to teams in the poorest form. Obviously its not fixed being a cricketer myself I know u cant even get a an edge deliberately leave alone hitting a six on a last ball to win, BUT some outcomes can be agreed upon to keep the viewership alive till the last match of the league stage cos at the end they also need to earn money through ads which will only run if more and more people watch. Also although kings 11 lost initial matches, but lot of them they should have won, so they always had a good team this season.
