Might as well play Pujara as opener and get extra batsman at Number 7  BC Shaw ka technique nahi hai overseas ke liye. Knowing our management, they will give him 2 matches atleast and then maybe Gill will come in as opener.

Wy is KL being overlooked, he has looked in fine form, could have tried him in the practice game.  If we bat first i am looking at 0/1 in 0.1 over :P

He disappoints me by playing an extra ball

I think the idea is that, Gill will play for Virat from next test.
Rohit will come in for Shaw.

In that case, they could have played Rahul as opener. Shaw just doesn't cut it.

Vihari batted at no 4 in both practice games. Logic says they're going to try him after virat departs but then this management....

Excellent ball.. can't blame Mayank too much for that.. I think we should play a little attacking, atleast 3 rpo.. too much defense leads to a wicket and no runs eventually.

Yea.
He was looking good.
Getting out like this is okay. Value your wicket, if you get a good ball, tough luck.

Runs will come in the 2nd session.

When you listen to Kohli and Smith the one thing that hits you is their humility, both superstars and loved by millions and still so on the ground.. people keep talking how Kohli is so arrogant and all but he always comes out as so down to earth in his interviews..
