Should have moved KL in middle order, both these guys take time to get set, should have continued keeping ishan to open.

Rahul gets out as I type.

To accomodate Rohit at the top and to give confidence to KL, Kishan was moved down, all 3 flopped.
And SKY got dropped w/o having played a single ball.

What the...
Also, I am perplexed.
Iyer at 6 makes no sense. He isn't a pinch hitter. Strange stuff going on this series.

This is what I was talking about the other day. Wood is going to be a key for England going forward.

Kohli showing him who is the boss.
He played well but we can't play Rohit, Rahul, Iyer, Kohli in same line up. We need fearless hitters in power play and both Rohit and Rahul takes time to get going.

Also, Hardik looks clueless against genuine pace. Same leg side slog every ball.
Iyer again doesn't have a clue how to play short balls and his hit out shot is cut over covers which most teams have covered now.

What's the point of bat deep when Sundar, Thakur, bhuvi won't even get a hit. We were below 6 RPO at 14 overs. That's absolutely sh*t batting under any match situation. Could have started hitting sooner and this score would be 180+.

Agreed, T20 team will continue to suffer if we continue to play ODI players.

Kishan

Rohit

Kohli

Pant

SKY

Hardik

Jaddu

Sundar/Chahal

Shardul

Shami

Bumrah

This is how team should probably look for the WC, there is no place in T20 International team for players like Rahul and Iyer as you clearly mentioned.

It was Pant's fault.

He ran too far, infact Virat took couple of steps and pused, since pant kept running he continued. Guess Pant dint expect the throw to come his way

Completely agree with your team. Rahul is a terrific striker but he has become an accumulator since last 2 years.
Right or left handers, Sundar should bowl in powerplay.
He's much better in powerplay than Chahal.
Seconded.
