The guy is so deprived [emoji38]

But he is the one who has taken indian cricket on a different level when it comes to fitness.
Crores of money, any food at his will and still he looks like a kid talking about all the stuff he would love to eat but can't eat.. this was fun to watch.

People say kohli is arrogant but I have seen so many interviews and he always come across a down to earth person who speaks from heart..

So true, the way he starts i will wake up early, lol it's so cool.

Yes his interviews he is fantastic, we just have to live with the fact that he will be what he is on the field, and well hr probably would never win an IPL trophy :P

Indeed a great watch

He is who he is. We can criticize him celebrating like a madman jumping around saying expletives but there is no denying that aggression of his brings the results for India with his bat and his captaincy.

Do any genuine cricket fan actually cares if he or anyone wins IPL trophy? It's a domestic tournament after all.. I believe we actually care whether we win in SENA countries, we keep our home test record intact, above all we win the world cup. Atleast I care about that. Even if he doesn't win IPL this year(which he won't looking at RCB line up barring a miracle), I hope he wins the World cup in Oct.

There's nothing wrong with Fakhar's dismissal.
What was the need to turn back, he should watched the ball or just run. Doesn't matter if his partner made it or not, he had to take strike.

As far Padikal is concerned, its a huge blow. But he's tested + on 22nd march. So may be he'll come back after 2/3 games. He's in amazing form.
But we do have enough openers.

We have Finn Allen who debuted against Bangladesh. He's a wicket keeper and an opener.
We also Rajith Pathedar. He plays no 3 for MP, Also opens if required.

Mohd Azharuddeen comes with huge reputation. He's a hard hitter + a wicket keeper batsman.
He would have played in the middle order for RCB + kept wickets imo.
He's also an opener.
Guess he'll open in Padikkal's absence.

Well I think he himself does!!

That said one thing missing for him is an ICC trophy, the World cup is one of his best chances, in T20 and CT ICC knock outs he is decent to good, but very bad in ODI format.

"Kohli has played six World Cup knockout matches so far and has scored a total of 73 runs in them. His batting average in these matches is 12.16 and strike rate 56.15."

Hopefully he can lead the team to victory, if all players are fit, we have a very good chance at this year T20 WC.

This is in 50 overs right.

In T20's in knockouts he is awesome.

His last 3 knockout innings scores are 72, 77 and 89.
In 2 of these matches he remained not out as well.

I know.

Maybe 2023 will be his redemption year.

If we have everyone available in Oct and we don't do selection blunders i see us lifting the trophy. Our only real challenger is England.

We need to sort out our spinners actually.
Jadeja will play. Chahal is out of form. Kuldeep is a definite no.
Sundar only good for back up i believe, unless he has an excellent IPL.

We should may be look to get Ashwin back to t20 side

I would love to get Ashwin back for world cup but Kohli has a hard on for wrist spinners so I fully expect a Chahar or bishnoi to play and Ashwin ignored as usual. Sundar isn't good enough as a spinner.

Current test team is in comparison to mighty Aussies of the early 2000. Thanks to dhoni for relinquishing the captaincy and moving on, he was never interested in test cricket.

Our batting is lacking. That team could play on difficult pitches. Ours lack that. It is another thing that most of the teams today lack that.
