Big Boss
aus did it for a decade whn they were no.1 in test matches. They won only one series in India in like 15 years. WI did it in 70s-80s. In 70s-80s, WI= 96-07 Australia and India= Current Bangladesh, so they always won. But seriously, this loss by India is comparable to pre-Ganguly/Dravid India, just replace current Dravid by that time's Sachin, and we had similar results. It was a humiliating defeat like those years. I hope they take revenge in next match.

rockstarnet
wish they learn a thing or two on comebacks..from you I seriously hate when ppl jump the gun....Only yesterday I read times article-"India doesnt deserve to be no.1" I was like wtf....guys give it some time...even the best lose...there are still two test matches...lets wait and watch... Now from here on if we level the series it would be even bigger than just winning the series...coz coming from behind is never easy..... Maybe team India is planning to do just that... Maximus
Weird though that none of Kohli and Ojha played. Now, if Sehwag and Gambhir play, Raina or Mukund at No. 6. Personally would like Raina in. So, Mukund will have to miss out despite this century!

blitzkreiig
Ya BCCI is treating a gem of a player like Dravid with utter contempt as far as ODIs go. Either keep him in or else not, dont push him out even if he contributes.
kaka_messi
Dravid announces retirement from ODI and T20 cricket Less than 12 hours after earning a shock recall to India’s ODI squad, Rahul Dravid announced his retirement from one-day and T20 cricket at the end of the England tour. Dravid made the announcement after India’s practice game against Northamptonshire. “I am honoured and privileged to be selected for the one-day team,” Dravid said. “Since I had not been picked for one-day cricket for the last two years, I was obviously a little surprised and to be honest, because I had not been picked, I had not informed the selectors or the board of my desire to solely focus on Test cricket.” “At the end of this one-day series, I would like to announce my retirement from one-day and Twenty20 cricket and concentrate only on Test cricket. I am committed, as always to give my best to India in this one-day series and obviously the Test series that follows.” "In the short term I am committed because now I have been picked for the series, but in the long term I think it is best for me and Indian cricket that I focus on Test cricket." silentassassin
bhogleharsha Harsha Bhoglemy first impression of the side? not one of the nine batsmen picked can bowl ten overs and not one of the bowlers can bat at number seven How True... I hope Viru can bowl a few overs...There's no way Raina , Virtat or rohit bowl 10 overs... Yuvi is such vital part in the team now
