Right
Sharda Ugra finds this crazy: "Edgbaston is trying to set a world record in the most people in fancy dress at a sports event in the UK. They are trying to get 2500 spectators in fancy dress." As an afterthought she adds, "I think many jokes can be made about how Indian team can also add to that number. Disguised at world No. 1s." :lol; There goes Raina.

Sufyan
at everyone who expected that Sehwag would perform miracles and destroy England single-handedly The lesson BCCI should learn is not to select injured players like Sehwag,Zaheer and Harbhajan automatically unless they grind their asses in domestic cricket and prove their fitness. Right
The lesson BCCI should learn is not to select injured players like Sehwag,Zaheer and Harbhajan automatically unless they grind their asses in domestic cricket and prove their fitness. You see, this is the problem, these players like to be dropped on their own terms. Bhajan isn't injured he faked it so he can avoid being dropped on performance ground. Gambhir didnt wanna play in Caribbean so in his last match in IPL, he faked the injury. So did Yuvraj. Sehwag has done this many times, last T20 world cup, he got in the tourny with the injury and then sat out. IPL which was suppose to serve the purpose of getting new talent is hardly doing anything, just another cashcow for the players and the BCCI. TheHitman
right... because India used to never lose matches away before the IPL started.... Stop blaming IPL for everything wrong with Indian cricket. Accept the fact that England are a much better team than us in their own conditions. Let them come to India and see what happens to the new #1 team in the world. Even the coach Duncan Fletcher said that he hasn't seen seaming pitches like these when he was the coach of England. silentassassin
Its ok... We lost for the 1st time after a long time...We'll come back strong... I'm pretty sure we'll get the no1 position back... n Sehwag's presence in the team indimidates the opposition...True he failed miserably.. 50 % fit Sehwag >> other opening batsmen AFAIK we became world no1 n won World Cup after IPL started

You know how many matches there are in IPL ? how many days of break a player gets in between IPL matches ? ever compare that sh*t to international cricket ?ever hear of burnout and injuries due to being overplayed ? Know the difference between test cricket and 20-20? England had a decent rest after the WC and they prepared for the series . but look at us what did we do? one practice match before the start of a massive series in which we got outplayed too. meh and they ve got a better if not at par spinner than us . They are batting way better than us .Broad and tremlett are making more runs than out top batsmen . Their pace attack is awesome. Name one department where we ve managed to compete with them. They can f**k us at home too . Heck they wont lose all the tests atleast like the embarrassing way that we re doing , they ll atleast put up a fight. Our main players skipped the WI tour . Did they skip the IPL ? no they didnt coz there s way too much money involved. IPL has become more important than our national team . and that is a disgrace .
