killzone123 Posted March 12, 2012 Report Share Posted March 12, 2012 (edited) a post quite late on the thread ...about dravid.. there have been times when i myself have criticized him so much for his game (especially one dayers ) ...but within my heart i knew that players like him seldom come in a lifetime...all i would say that i have been lucky to be a part of the era where he played...whenever he use to arrive ,in back of my mind i knew that now atleast the wickets wont fall...as we say "ekdam solid player hai" ...india will miss him,so would i...and yea was lucky to meet him once at a party in kolkata...a very reserved and polite gentleman! But if the prices are actually increased then its The stadiums are pretty much gonna be empty.. ya 1100 for the cheapest ticket is pretty steep, a family trip to the match will set you back by 6k. I can assure you that he'll definitely bat well than Rohit...Tiwary definitely deserved a chance... Not at all bad... Yes, he has not been consistent.. But you should also consider that he has played most of his matches outside the sub-continent.. Where trust me, not many Indians score... He's just 24... The more he plays, the better he'll get... And 2 hundreds.... Gambhir finally gets to three figure mark... He's there mainly for his fielding and bowling though; batting is just a bonus for our team. who else thinks ashwin will open the bowling (1st or 2nd ov) when we have three slow pace bowlers in the team.
