But i know the reason Primary reason being that whoever does well in that side dhoni pushes him to the Indian team and wen he fails he stubbornly keeps on backing him.. Thats why I pray that csk doesn't do well .. Example- jadeja .. We lost the the t20 world cup cause of his awesome bowling For your information when t20 world cup happened, Jadeja was not in Chennai super kings. We love CSK just because the team is representing Chennai, not because of Dhoni or Raina. Even Dhoni or raina goes out, we will support CSK. True he keeps giving chances to raina and jadeja while keeping players like rahane and irfan on bench. I can accept this for Jadeja not for Raina, Raina has proven enough atleast in limited overs games. You can't expect him to score 50 every match, he comes in at almost 6th down after dhoni, with hardly few overs to spare where he has to come and hit. He has done well in those situations. Going by your logic of picking players purely on form, maybe we should drop Kohli, who has done f**k all of late, as well. Love the hate that CSK gets; it's basically the IPL equivalent of ABU. Hell, he wasn't even eligible to own a team being a bcci official. He was instructed by court to give up either the franchise or position at BCCI, he did nothing. Jadeja, Raina, Ashwin and Vijay keep finding/holding the spot in the national team despite average performances. Is he paying them by giving the international spot in kind, one can suspect that easily. Entire thing seems skewed in the CSK favour, they host openings/finals...retentions, transfers all as decided by srinis own set of rules. They f**k with franchises like RR cuz they can. Dropping well established players on IPL form is just stupid.Raina hasn't done well in pressure situations in the Tri-series and Asia cup except for the 320 chase match against Sri Lanka.There is a case for review of his performance but for now he should be in the team. Secondly, whom do you suggest should play for India ahead of Ashwin? Like most other Indian captains, Dhoni has his favourites. Gony had no business playing for India but he did. But it's not only CSK players, there are others — RP Singh comes to mind. But it's been far worse earlier There was a period when Ganguly kept dropping Kumble in favour of Bhajji, FFS.
