godspeed4476
Yeah Punjab is a lot better position having played 2 games les than chennai, they still have to win the matches though
godspeed4476
Lol, wait kings 11 have 2 out of remaining 4 against delhi. So it's gonna be RCB v/s chennai for the final spot
theneurotoxin
RR has a better chance than Kings XI IMO — easier fixtures. If RR lose tomorrow and MI win against RCB on Monday, the current top four will qualify in all probability. *fingers crossed* Edited May 12, 2012 by Bandersnatch Cummerbund
Billa
Yeah Punjab is a lot better position having played 2 games les than chennai, they still have to win the matches though  Punjab has tough chance, but can't rule them out after seeing the performance of DD today. They have 2 matches against DD, one against CSK and one against Deccan   RR has a better chance than Kings XI IMO — easier fixtures. If RR lose tomorrow and MI win against RCB on Monday, the current top four will qualify in all probability. *fingers crossed*  Rajasthan may be has couple of easy matches against Pune and Deccan and one against Mumbai. For RR they have to win all the 3 matches which puts MI in a tough position considering MI has matches against RCB and KKR. Out of which RCB i am not sure whether the match happens as it is raining pretty heavily in Bangalore in the evening. So it makes the table interesting if the match is washed out.   So tomorrow's matches will decide the fate of RR and Punjab. If in case Pune and Deccan become party spoilers tomorrow. Then it would be direct fight between MI, RCB and CSK for the last two spots. Considering DD and KKR wins atleast one of the remaining macthes. Otherwise they will also join the fun
Billa
I was waiting to see what happens when DD and KKR losses few wickets at the top and it happened on the same day, both of them lost today. Since for both teams the top order has been brilliant in most of the matches.
AtheK
Rcb has to defeat mi and they will feel more safe as last match is against dc.
Death Stryke
Much needed win against DD. DD just falls apart if their opening pair dont click. Hope Faf recovers soon. Faf and Hussy make a formidable opening pair.
AtheK
Chennai is not safe even if they win both matches...hope they loose atleast one if not both
HarishProGamer
CSK/MI/RCB will be a fight to watch... regarding rest of the Teams.. Its pretty tough actually. the Equation may change at any time for them... They have to win all matches which is not possible. Someone have to Loose. Â So all & all, It boils down to Mumbai/RCB/CSK. Mumbai I was counting bcoz of today's win.. They desperately needed that just to be more on the safe side. And wonderful knocks from Gibbsey & Rohitwa.. theneurotoxin
There is one remote scenario where Chennai can go out on net run rate against KKR, even if they win their next two. RCB win all three, Mumbai win their two except against RCB, KKR win against Pune alone, Delhi win at least one of their two against Punjab. That's a 1/128 chance assuming net run rates will remain more or less the same which most likely will not be the case.
