theneurotoxin
Just imagine, Mallaya was battling it out to get that POS Zhadoo tiwari in the team and did not retain Dale steyn or aggressively bid for him That's cause they are jackasses, they also didn't retain KP, forced Kumble out etc. Â So, the Bangalore game becomes very tough. They will need to negotiate Malinga and still get a big score. Bat first is the key as MI struggles even with a 150 total on a flat wicket to chase. Very nicely put blueprint. Need Raina to fire. It's about f**king time he does too. Â really? after crawling the way to QFs on basis of RR? 5/5 times in the knockout stages, 2 on the trot in IPL, 1 champions league. Shoddy performance this season and still in with a very good chance. I was being kind earlier.
godspeed4476
Mi vs CSK in Bangalore...problem is we have lost all recent games to Mi. so they are favourites on 23rd. Â Still...beggars can't be choosers MI has a poor record against CSK in playoffs, and to top it off CSK players are fully rested, and the chodu MI team still cant get their opening combination right

Consistency counts for nothing in IPL in terms of wins or entry in playoffs per tournament, the current entry of CSK in the playoffs is good example of that. just because CSK or any other team manages to get consistently in the playoffs with scrappy wins does not mean they are a dominating team. Big Boss
Mi vs CSK in Bangalore...problem is we have lost all recent games to Mi. so they are favourites on 23rd So law of averages suggests that CSK should win  Also Man.. If CSK manages to get into Playoffs.... That will piss many of my friends. Though the chances are very Slim because i have full faith in DC, They never disappoint to loose. CSK aiming for the ultimate Troll award.   If CSK qualifies they are definitely going to win the cup....   Hope they don't qualify    Go RCB !! solidsid
it aint fair to say csk made it in by luck.. all the teams in contention were required to perform in their final few matches.. we won 3 out of the last 4. and the others failed. . it just like what DS said.. we finished our matches earlier and so had to sit back and wait for the other results.. if we had played the last match after this one we would have still qualified provided we dint lose by a big margin and people wouldnt have called it by luck then

theneurotoxin
just because CSK or any other team manages to get consistently in the playoffs with scrappy wins does not mean they are a dominating team. Oh gosh. Not this argument that's been done to death over and over again. First of all there are only two franchises that have had a team that doesn't change every year or two. I said we're a better team not that we're dominating though the latter is debatable based on how you define domination. If not by results, how else will you compare teams? Â Can't really agree on that You win the Championship twice, Runners up once and semi-finalists once. If this is not consistency, what do you call a consistent team ? Not calling CSK a consistent team in IPL shows what kind of biased goggles he is wearing. Awaiting more meltdown after CSK thrashes MI out  But I want DD to win this IPL. CSK should knock out MI, lose to KKR, and DD should beat KKR again, just to rub it in the face of SRK Edited May 20, 2012 by The_Rock

A consistent team would be the one who dominates the table on top and wins the finals, a team which barely manages to get to the play offs and win would not be called consistent, be it CSK or any other team, a win is a win nonetheless. The only one who has been hyper in the thread with hate against MI has been you, so even if CSK wins there would be no meltdown :consol:  just a note before other join in , it is you guys who are raving about consistent performance,
theneurotoxin
I know you are trying to make more sense but you really aren't.
