Also, Pakistan to tour inidia in dec-Jan for 3 Odis and 2 t20s.

sh*t. I hope it doesn't open doors for Pak players in IPL. I dont want Pak players to earn Indian money :furious:

All I want is a even sporting wicket, something like that of new Zealand tour earlier in the year.

New Zealand tour pitches, especially the first match pitch should do the job.

Yeah, just checked the scores, I hope they don't make a freaking dustbowl that spins from day 1, last time we did it, Michael Clarke of all people took 6-9 in one innings. It can come back to bite us in the a*s in the most hilarious ways possible, swann can be dangerous and we don't have dravid anymore. All I want is a even sporting wicket, something like that of new Zealand tour earlier in the year.

eng arent half as good at spin as aus. pray tell why a dustbowl isnt a "sporting wicket"? even that requires skill to play on.

but yes normally i would like the NZ tour wickets but this time we have to not just win but win in 2 days :smokey: so a pitch like the one u mentioned that spins from ball 1 will do the job thank u very much. ideal scorecard - eng 1st inn 105 all out, india 1st inn 350, eng 2nd inn 85 all out

We need dustbowl wich turns from ball 1..

The england batsmen should sh*t in thr pants as soon as they see the wicket..

thats what i'm talking abt. lets send them back whining & crying

When the youth of India has such an attitude, the future in this region of the world can only be bleak.

I agree Piper. And then these same people aspire to go abroad and try earning in $$$ and £££ ! Biggest hypocrites ! I hope Pakistani players also play in the IPL. Would be great for the competition.

Yuvraj and Raina have taken 3 of the 4 wickets Eng have lost. This series is going to be amazing.

KP again out to Yuvi

MI letting Bhajji go :O

Even Jesse Ryder has been left out by PWI..

Broad is no surprise , he never showed up last 2 seasons..

I am rather surprised they had him for the current Champions league. Its good that Nita Ambani realises that grabbing her and lifting her around is not the main criteria for keeping players in the team. Good riddance :happydance: , just hope they dont go all guns blazing to bring him back in the auction :fear:

PWI left out 3 overseas players..

1 is Jesse Ryder..Any guesses who the other 2 are..

1 i think is Callum Ferguson..

Whats the point of dropping him and picking him in the Auction ??

They wanna reduce his salary i guess by picking him in the auction

I hope rcb does not pick him now..though with current state of Mallaya, I will be surprised if RCB even comes to auction :giggle:

Naaa..We already have Vettori and Murali..

We need all rounders..

Will be fun to see who captains the team now, do they fall back on Sachin (who is awful captain) or they decide to entertain us all and make Rohit Sharma the new captain

It'll be Dinesh Karthik...

I dont see any other option..

Someone clear this for me..

If a team lets a player go then the team will have a slot free to pick a player..

like wise will the money payed to the player will be added to the purse to go to the auction ??

Kings Xi bought nayar for 800,000 , Now they have let him go , so will they get that 800,000 to their purse in the auction ?

from last time:

The retention process allows teams to hold on to those players it deems crucial to their immediate future; these players are ruled out from the open auction to be held at some point before the next season.

In return, the franchise's spending budget at the auction - a maximum of $9 million - will be cut for each player retained: $1.8 million from the cap for one player, $3.1 for two, $4 million for three and $4.5 million for the maximum of four players.

from last time:

No...That is different..

That happens next year..Where teams can only retain upto 4 players..

The contract of the player is for 3 years..

Now the teams have option to let them before the contract expires..Bhajji has a year left with MI , but they are letting him go..

Yep, rightly said. And yes the team who let the players go will get back the purse value.
