silentassassin
Yep, rightly said. And yes the team who let the players go will get back the purse value. Yea..Even i thought so.. Then RCB FFS release Saurabh Tiwary , Mithun , Luke Pomerbach and even Dilshan.. We can buy amazing players with the money that is spent on them.. Whats the point of dropping him and picking him in the Auction ?? They wanna reduce his salary i guess by picking him in the auction Naaa..We already have Vettori and Murali.. We need all rounder. What ya smoking, he is an rounder albeit a failed allrounder

Chewie
When the youth of India has such an attitude, the future in this region of the world can only be bleak. piper you're a cool guy & this isnt the forum for a political debate (we can have that offline when you're kicking my a** in bf3 ) so i'm not going to say anything on the politics side of things but that's another reason that i'm not the biggest fan of the ipl coz players & fans from places like pakistan (eg. sohail tanvir), australia, sl (unlike say wi, sa, nz) bad mouth india & the ipl at every opportunity. i'm not saying that since they take our money they have to obeisant but at least dont be disrespectful. I agree Piper. And then these same people aspire to go abroad and try earning in $$$ and £££ ! Biggest hypocrites ! I hope Pakistani players also play in the IPL. Would be great for the competition. who exactly are you referring to here, sir?? you dont know me or my aspirations. and the people who do "aspire to go abroad & earn in $$$ and £££" are (usually) not bad mouthing those very countries. at least, those are the kind of people i know. i cant attest to the people you know. Chewie
coming back to the cricket... love how bcci trolled eng some more by preparing a greenish wicket for the practice match we were in some trouble at 190/6 till tiwari & pathan rescued us. have to admire how serious eng are taking this tour though - they had a long camp in uae & now they're here more than 15 days in advance & playing 3 practice matches before the 1st test. wish we planned our tours better. we always did reasonably well when we had more than the 1 or 2 practice matches that are standard these days. AtheK
yup i agree, we should have more practice matches. BCCI should give them some more Green tops for next two matches, let them even defeat one of our side and then take them by surprise.

AtheK
Time for Yuvi to make his mark in Test Team, that is a big feather missing in his cap. Go on Yuvi replace Laxman.

silentassassin
Ravindra Jadeja was the costliest buy for CSK last season. But he was a disappointment and some CSK officials want him to be released to use the money for buying some players. However, there was no confirmation on Jadeja from the franchise. From the article GS posted RCB please trade Dilshan or mcdonald and get some decent all rounders..

godspeed4476
It seems that for the test matches, the tickets have been priced very reasonably. One of my friends said that tickets are available for as low as 150rs for the test match in Mumbai. It should be a full house for sure, good to see test matches with full capacity crowd. Params7
If we don't whitewash England I'm going to be disappointed. India got thoroughly thrashed in England, this needs to be a payback so to show both of us can't play in each others turf. But if we lose or draw any test it'll take that sense away.
