Ne0
Having 3 positive feedbacks don't make sense. I've traded quite some times with GI'ans in GI, but nobody gave me any feedback. So my feedback score is 0. I think ppl having 'no negative feedbacks' should be allowed as well. What if I have never traded with anyone in GI, I should still be able to participate in this, isn't it ? If trust is the reason for this feedback score in place, then I guess its more or less taken care by 500 post count limit. By the time anyone makes 500 posts(without spamming), he would've been quite familiar to ppl in GI.
Aftrunner
Yeah maybe 250 - 300 posts ought to be enough. With 500 you might have scenarios whereby the offer/deal has very very few takers. And to be quite honest the only reason I am above 500 is because I do post a lot of nonsense. And it might be worth making the name public. Nice knowing who to avoid. Name and shame.

castiel
bhai mt itne rule bana kaise lete ho yaar ,how u get all those idea but jokes apart don u think 500 is a bit high ,u already got a 1000 post for library and now this ,all reason for that rule was to prohibit people who cud exploit such things but free offers shud b open to everyone cause there is no need of trust in such offers , thoda hum logo ke liye bhi socho yaar who r regular but dont like to post here and there without full knowledge of that subject . MarketTantrik
as aftrunner mentioned, even i'm kinda disappointed with the 500 posts criterion for obvious reasons quite frankly IMHO it makes very little sense...i've been on this forum for more than an year now but i guess if i would have posted '' 10 times a day as replies, i would be held in different light according to these new rules; but whatever...ur forums ur rules You can judge your contribution to the forum in two ways. A member for over a year with less than 400 posts could mean one or more of several possibilities: - you are a lurker - you only make posts in certain sections (eg: Trading Post) - You make extremely pointed and concise posts but restrict your involvement in anything beyond that. We would like members to get more involved in the community, have debates and discussions, post news, screenshots, game updates and otherwise make themselves seen, heard or felt on a regular basis. Nothing personal, but you can hardly be classified as an active member or contributor to GI.

Keyofx
Members without trading feedback should be ineligible. What do you suggest? But that would make ME ineligible! That can't be right. I wouldn't hurt a fly. /slaps Aftrunner
MarketTantrik
in total agreement! if yu look at it,, its kinda fair!! not many people come to GI for the purpose of trading! You will be very surprised at the truth.
MarketTantrik
A 500 post count limit gives ample time for us and other members to size up and take stock of a member. For eg: If Kunalkw / Pushy has 500 posts and Keyofx / Reaper has 500 posts, who would you consider has made the greater contribution to GI? Whom would you be more comfortable trading with? (Apologies for taking names, but its the best illustration I could come up with at this late hour).

Madhav
well the best imo is athek's suggestion... TP feedback should come into play only if the person has less post count than desired! for that purpose MT's rule is perfect i.e. 3 minimum +ve feedbacks with no negatives... wot i really cant say is what should be the minimum post count.. that yu guys should decide!! P.S- PLEASE NAME THE TRAITOR!!
