Keyofx
I did. Its not a decent game and that ending has already been done. By Call of duty 1 FFS! ^^ THIS! Although it felt a lot more cinematic this time. The Reichstag looked frightening!
Madmage
I remember the Stalingard level in COD 1 .. was EPIC !!! had goosebumps when i played that level
Keyofx
please! you've been hating on this game for a year or when it was announced as a treyarch/WW2 shooter, whichever came first peace But hating for a reason! I've seen enemies stand around and do nothing, my squad mates pass through tanks and furniture, bodies getting stuck on scenery and juddering like crazy, squad mates running back and forth and breaking the illusion etc etc. I don't remember anything like that happening in CoD4! I ENJOYED the game! The graphics were very good and the scenarios they picked to include were quite nice. HOWEVER. They don't as good a job as IW did in making you believe that you weren't being shepherded along! You could see the level borders right next to you! All they gave you was a bloody corridor to walk in inspite of a large number of the levels taking place out in the open.
Aftrunner
Biggest problem was CoD WaW never feels like its own game. At all times you get the sense of a young kid desperately trying to copy his older and more successful brother. I kinda feel bad for Treyarch. I am guessing any ideas they had were ruthlessly crushed by some marketing types.

CarbonCore
Been there, done that (for the most part). I felt the same about CoD4, except for Sniper and bombing mission. Rest of it was done spectacularly well in GRAW 2. Epic firefights, awesome explosions and friendly AI that actually did something friendly. Keyofx
I don't think GRAW 2 did as well as it should have I also don't understand how they're at all similar. Graw 2 needed decent friendly AI, being a squad based tactical shooter and all. Not just a squad based shooter mind, it let you control not just your squad, but random Mexican/USArmy troops, a helicopter gunship, APCs, tanks and I don't remember what else. The AI was there because the game wouldn't work without it. The terrain variation was also much greater, with wide open spaces with multiple possibilities of cover and locations of engagement. Verticality was also an issue. You could split up your squad and perch them on any rooftop on the level. IT WAS BRILLIANT. CoD4 on the other hand, is a Jerry Bruckheimer film. You're supposed to feel like you're taking part in one tightly choreographed action sequence after another. Everything is pre set, and as such, polish is important. IW ensured that you didn't see the enemies or your squadmates act like they don't belong in combat.
