I'm stuck right there...... scroll up. Nimmo has posted a walkthrough... go to that walkthrough page on youtube and the continuing walkthrough video is our answer :P

But my sympathies with u, this level is infuriating :chair:

lol. no. ur stuck in the area after that..

with the spiked walls, where the rotating golden cunts come. that was alright. the jumps to absolve that stupid female were irritating beyond belief. i damn well punished her when i actually did get to her

^^ i just left that beech alone... could only hear her but never figured out how to get to her. Anyways cleared the part with spikes where i was stuck. Paused the game after i "mount" the beast :chair:

I made a mistake a while ago of reviewing a game when I had only finished half of it (maybe even less :fear:). I gave it a great review, and then by the time I finished it, I hated the game and I've regretted writing that review ever since.

And after that I've never once reviewed a game without completing it; even rubbish like NFS Undercover and Wheelman. Of course, there was Hanuman: Boy Warrior which I reviewed without completing, but that doesn't count because it's damn near unplayable. All my reviews on IVG are after completing the game, and same goes for all the other reviewers.

peace

^^ :fear: sam

I thought u guys review games at times without finishing them.. only because there's so many games u review all the time. Itna time kaise milta hain?

Glad to know reviews here are made by judging a game in its entirety and not just a part of it.

So I started this today. About a half-an-hour in and I am already bored. There is some disconnect with the story I am feeling from the beginning itself. Why is that almost every EA published game I have played in last one year or so...just sucked a*s, except Saboteur which in the end I could say was a fun game.

But what the hell is this.. :ack:

Ok, I will play a bit more, I think slight lack of back-story has disappointed me a bit. Anyway, normally, I don't quit, I will finish it.

But I could have given the game a skip if it wasn't for the pre-order Dante doll, which is awesome BTW.

lol.

not revealing anything but that is so not the case in this game.

just saw the bonus disc and the director's commentary is effin funny :hi:

the way one of them described the design for Lucifer's seriously impressive man junk,

apparently at one point they wanted it to be like a donkey's, dragging on the ground

:P

these guys really like their job ;) they talk about how they would have been fired from other places than viceral for discussing the stuff while making this game, all kinds of tortures and nasty stuff.

pretty good.

Give it some more time udham.... Keep ir mind free of any inevitable comparisions to GOW and you may actually start liking it.

Play it as if kratos and his anger tantrums never existed

:panic:

just play a bit moar. story is fairly decent (actually one of its better points) and will open up.

but why r u disappoint ?? what were you expecting ? genuine question that :panic:

story? really? i dunno what that poet priest keeps on blabbing about. everytime i see him it's like a couple of mins and 2 R1 presses wasted

in anger now and the game is feeling slightly better. the green tinge helps quite a bit :ranting:

all my gripes remain but greed has turned me into a new, patient man. all those puzzles/platforming sections could have been so much better (read : non infuriating). mostly i failed due to the game's incompetence.

i'm kinda enjoying the newer powers & relics though. and controlling the minotaur is always fun.

:happydance:

nah no need to listen if you are not interested knowing the in depth details about the hell circles. He actually gives direct quotes from divine comedy.

you just keep on pressing R1 till he evaporates. i got 3 relics from him as far as i recollect.

you might wanna do more than a couple of R1's at the poet, sometimes he gives some very important relics if you do a full convo

hey.. i got those. just because i don't understand a word he says doesn't mean i won't make him utter crap again and again :P

though.. are they really that important? there are sooo many relics to choose from.

:D

that's the point. you can't understand a word he says. just one aspect of the disconnect apparent in the entire game.

Playing the PSP version right now...

It's literally a scaled-down version of the HD brothers. Every cinematic, every set piece and even level transitioning... It's all duplicated rather faithfully albeit to a lesser graphic fidelity, and I'm quite impressed actually. Controls don't feel as tight though, and dodging with the L+R buttons plus analog stick is more delayed than it should be. On the flip side, it makes me wish that I didn't see the PS3 version played by Reggie in nearly two playthroughs...

I wonder if there was anything they added or changed from the portable release.
