Hi all!

Like the topic says, post your car audio setup here. You can post pics of your car stereos and accessories. Please do not post direct links. If you have to guide someone to a useful site, use this format (sitename.com/.org/.ftw).

Example:

I shortlisted my setup from onlinecarstereo.com

Pour in ;)

u can use the automobile thread......

whts u r setup btw?

I knew this would come up but that thread deals with dream cars and has little or nothing to do with the audiophile.

Mine's a Pioneer DEH MP 7950 with Pioneer 5 way 6x9 in a box to go with it. Considering switching to the Alpine iDA X100 head unit ;)

Mine's minus the bling as of now. It's a zen and the speakers are in a cardboard boom box. 7950 is the head unit :S! No amp installed as of now after I had to return the 222 I had borrowed from a friend. No bass tube either and yes, no power and/or stiffening capacitors since i'm not using an amp at all. Your $10 million are in my pocket.

you cannot get the best output without an Amp.........capacitor is not tht necessary unless u always listen the music at max output,

here's mine setup (its 4-5 year old setup :naughty: )

i believe in a single brand setup for max output, used pioneer for the same

1.Amp 944 series- had to order it from black market, it has scarcely available tht time

2.custom made boom box for palio, with cotton based chemical filling.

3.6950 series rear speakers with inbuilt woofers

4.pioneer 800/1000 watt woofers

5. i ve forgotten the model no of my panel cost me around some 15k, will see it tmorrow

6.Front speakers pioneer

7.Monster cable for the entire setup.

Will put up the system's pic tmorrow

Bostons are available but im not sure officially although i normally buy from this one vendor who knows his stuff very well and can bring you whatever you want in Car Audio if you show him the money...

Im planin to change my Sub's to 12inch JL Audio high end model ofcourse and add a mono amp for powering them very soon but they are quite expensive at the moment...
