Solitaire Posted July 14, 2009 Report Share Posted July 14, 2009 lol we hardly play on DLC maps.. 99% of gi games are on original maps.. its nothing like that...even if we play on new dlc ,old maps are our favs...but checking your previous posts...finding a GI game at those times will be very hard for you... true, but perhaps some day I'll find a lot of people from GI in a game on a weekend in the morning or afternoon or early evening. Shantz Posted July 14, 2009 Report Share Posted July 14, 2009 I don't feel bots are too overpowered, its just that their weaknesses are not exploited properly. Air bots are still very vulnerable against turrets and if you have 1-2 turrets placed in the right location then they won't survive in that area for more than a few seconds. But for this the turrets must not be open to enemy fire and should be placed somewhere enclosed but with a clear line of sight to the sky. This doesn't usually happen as most engineers prefer to place the turrets where they get more kills and doesn't care much about defending their team from air bots. +1 I think air bots are good now. Earlier they were just useless and even now they can be tackled, it just needs a bit more thought than just blind run and gun.. Hey, I'm a n00b at Killzone, but even I found that the airbots don't really pose a big threat. Gotta try it more what with the points being higher on it. Still, last evening I was playing an Assassination match (not GI) when I got picked as the target. Walked around coolly and took out 4 guys, fell from a higher floor and screen got all bloody, then someone popped a few rounds in me and it was when I saw "Mission Lost" that I realised what I had done!!
