For each product, a numerical score from each review is obtained and the total is averaged. Metacritic is unbiased if you do not consider the whole internet to be biased!! One can see that the games averaging 90+ for Xbox 360 ( 21) is greater then PS3 (12) ....almost double! Moreover almost all of the multiplatforms look equal or better on 360 then their PS3 counterpart. I am not saying that the PS3 does not have games ........MGS4, LBP and Killzone 2 are great games but still they are not enough to entertain long enough! so if i were to choose between Xbox 360 and PS3 ,i would definitely go for the Xbox 360. First of all the multiplatform games are almost same if you are not nit-picking as developers have to make compromise to make it look same on all platforms. Ratings, sales are just numbers you are talking those too seriously as a gamer it should not concern too much. Read what i said ............ ....including the multiplatforms the PS3 has only 12 while the 360 has 21. ......and its not my list..... its metacritic.com's ......if i wanted i could have gone with some other site (which you might call biased)......but i went for metacritic cause its universally known to be unbiased! Oh and the X360 is the best console, no doubt about that, as my red RE5 special edition Elite will testify. I'm ordering the GAME.co.uk Elite + RE5 bundle as well which has an extra black wireless controller. GBP 229 for that bundle is an awesome deal.
