ignore these choir preachers, do what you want but after weighing in the pros and cons. think you have the brain and smarts to carry you with bare bones efforts, or daddy's got scrooge mc'duck like bank balance ? Go ape sh*t on games and women. think you need to study hard to go to a nice college ? buckle up.

think you need to assign a time table ? do that.

what ever you do, just don't live with regret 4-5 years from now. you don't owe it to any one but yourself.

i don't want my gaming to suffer becoz..its just that i don't want to be a kid who studies all the time and take tension abt exams and does nothing for fun for that i do gaming ....and 2 -3 hours is average amount of gaming i do in a day right now so that's why i was asking will it be enough ?.
and abt studies i am quite serious abt it if i would have to choose between gaming or studies i would of course choose studies .....it may not seem like that right now but i am serious as i have alot of plans for my carrer abt working hard getting a good salary so i can help my mom as she is a single parent and i want to help her in the future.....

so this is what i have decided right now will do gaming only if it wouldn't effect my studies ...by that i don't mean that il leave gaming il just play for 1 or 2 hour and give more time to studies....

so again thnx alot for the help everyone appreciate it :)

Harjas, my two cents.

Tenth and twelfth are the years which matter. Ninth and eleventh are like the calm before the storm. But they're also the years where you can take it easy before the real sh*t storm starts.

Imo, study for an hour each day. Everyday different subject. And after that, game for an hour. But also go out, meet friends for an hour. Eat and sleep early, and get lots of sleep.

I was in cbse too all my life. I understood that cramming will not help you. Understand what is being taught. Listen in class. Once you actively listen in class, the one hr study you do sill become a breeze and not a burden.

And practice this routine. Study, go out, eat dinner, game. Don't change the order. Don't keep studying and gaming one after the other. Gaming will be a distraction which ll affect your concentration when studying .

Also, enjoy life. Flirt, yap away to girls, get a girl friend, play sports, discover naughty stuff etc.

Coast thro 9th, buck up during 10th.

ok bhaiya thnx for the suggestion.....well i understand everything properly that is being taught in the class as a result when i used to take tutions in the start i used to tell my mam the concept instead of her telling me :P

and i hope that continues in 9th (my studies go well and gaming too) and everything goes good ......lets see this week il know if my plan would work out or not :)....hopefully it would

but by the way i don't go out that much to meet frnds, and by not that much i mean only sometimes ....family dinners tho hote rehte hai unpe zaroor jata hu .....but i am not that fond of going to out to meet frnds so yeh sab kam hai

Bad News: Car still hasn't shown up, at this rate it's going to be another month and a half atleast :(

Worse News: Busted my ankle playing Basketball yesterday. First time this has happened in my life and the pain was not insignificant. Can't put any weight on my left leg or move the left ankle. Now I'm working from home with no way to go out because I don't have a car yet and can't walk (can only hop on my right leg till I get tired).
