Right knee pretty much shattered after a bike accident, and cannot move that leg more than a bit right now. I have a lateral tibial plateau fracture that requires surgery soon to reduce a risk of arthritis at a very young age. I have an open reduction internal fixation surgery scheduled for next week. On a very strong dosage of oxycodon to manage the pain which is probably the only good thing coming out of this.

Bad news - Fell off my bike, twisted my ankle, bruised my arms, had my phone stolen in the chaos

Good news - I get to buy meself a new phone :D Got my eyes on Redmi Note 3 or Oneplus 3.

Sorry for the loss and hope you get well soon.

Maybe your subconscious wanted that to happen, just an excuse to get a new mobile :P

Ray of hope news: maybe the guy who stole it now has a broken phone and you get a brand new one.

Get well soon, both of you.

In general, I feel happy with no phone and no bike and stuff. Never got into either of those things. One less thing to worry about. su5mtrJ.gif

Looking at Tibial plateau fracture itself makes me feel uneasy. Don't know how you are going through. Take care.

Happy times ahead, everyone. LQY0Ich.gif

Thanks everyone for the wishes. Just wanted to clarify that I had a bicycle accident and not a motorcycle one. Bike usually means motorcycle in India.

Get well soon, both of you.

Oxycodone, mate. I am a straightedge guy but am somehow wanting to always have more oxycodone because it felt so good after the first time I took it. My body has adjusted to it though, and I can't get that sensation again when I take a tablet again. That's why there is a strong temptation to take more than one pill everytime. Hope I can withdraw easily after reecovery and don't become a drug addict. That stuff is almost impossible to get anyway. Edited by Ph3N0M

Surgery was successful. I'm in a lot of pain again, which means more oxycodone. All hail Max Payne! I will start physical therapy in a couple of days and will see the doctor again in two weeks. Am also going to be injecting blood thinner everyday for the next 15 days. Cannot put any weights on my right leg for 8-12 weeks. Should be able to restart walking again after that if all goes well.
