Unbelievable. Thats why PS3 and Wii rules after all they have been making hardware for a long long time. And M$ picks stuff off the rack and makes a console out of it. vinitwins Posted October 18, 2007 Report Share Posted October 18, 2007 ok, can you try copying the contents of dvd1 (basically made up of a 3 large sid files of 1.5gb each) to your HDD? if it gets copied then your DVD1 is working (i had to resort to reduce the speed of my reader to copy 2 of the 3 files, but the 3rd file The Orange Box Retail_disk1_3.sid is totally unreadable). if all is ok with your dvd1, then i'll send my driver with a 2gb memcard and you can copy that file over for me, or better yet, if you have a dvdrw pls burn me a copy of DVD1. And trolls can stay on the other forums. Here, discussions and debates which add value and knowledge are welcome, heck, we look forward to those. But comments like these are not. The comments you are referring to were made in jest and hopefully have been taken in the right spirit. We have also seen plenty of comments of similar nature against the X360, some of which were made in the right spirit and some of which were not. People have been castigated for trollish comments against M$'s machine too. Rest assured, the yard stick is very much the same for all.
