praveer
Don't feel sad,Brother!!! This is life.....& luck is not always shining Well even I have had a rather traumatising past one year involving someone......someone I think I loved I won't go into the details as there is really no point.......coz words never help me But as there are so many ppl here.....I only want to ask one thing & see whats the general opinion/experience/suggestion about it Is there any such thing as true love?!? As in like two ppl having a connection......beyond explanation, social or practical boundaries Two ppl knowing that they are walking towards a doomed fate of separation but still can't stop but walking towards it?! Of course, how do you feel towards your parents and family? That's true love the way you just described it. You can develop the same sort of feelings but with intimacy towards someone else not related by blood and that becomes what you call a romantic love. IMO its easier said than done though :-/ Edited November 9, 2013 by Ne0

Yes, Love exists. And the connection you mentioned can be felt even beyond the boundaries of romantic love. True love feels natural, effortless. Just like breathing. It just flows and it may or may not be mutual. Whereas connections are mostly mutual. They can be felt at a soul level..the feeling of eternal knowingness. Connection may lead to friendship, love or any other bond between people. Unfortunately true love is at times confused with possession, obsession. But when you truly love someone , you surrender, you get selfless and you don't possess but protect. It's a positive emotion and mostly inspires not destruct. IMO its easier said than done though :-/ Not even expect to be loved back? That's some bullshit. So you love a person for 10+ years and she doesn't even care about it? and you still love her? That's something idiot would do. Excuse me? What's so needy about expecting basic courtesy ? Expecting basic courtesy from a (drunk) girl you met in a bar in Liverpool. yeeeeeeeah good luck. What happens in the bar stays in the bar. By reading all your post, you sure sound needy and alone. Oh dear, take a break and do something FUN? aye? (instead of running around for woman. You'll get when it's time..or never. Move on man.) Dude did u pay the bill for the things she ordered while having that magical conversation ? Good one. Is there any such thing as true love?!? As in like two ppl having a connection......beyond explanation, social or practical boundaries It does and it's stupid. You seem to think drinking a glass of wine makes someone drunk? lol People meet other people at pubs all the time, this is how I've made many of my friends. A pub is not the same as club or a bar. And whatever having "fun" means, the amount of activities I do to keep myself busy is just ridiculous...yet I feel left out. Most of the events that's listed on the website you linked take place right next to where I live, what makes you think I miss them? I've never been intimate with someone, so sorry if I sound out of norm regarding something that is rather unusual to begin with. Guess, you're having really bad time/luck. (did you try asking some of your guy friend to help you out? I mean ask him if he can help you meet some girl or something?) I hope you find what you're looking for, soon. Have a good time. Edited November 9, 2013 by Heaven Angel

praveer
maybe you just do these"activities" to keep yourself busy rather than having fun. Yes I do these to take my mind off and be busy, but I come back to them because I have fun. Few years ago I took up skydiving and snow sports as a hobby and they are an important part of my life at this stage. Meanwhile the two things that truly makes me forget about the whole world, painting and learning music, I haven't even touched them for like 2 years now. In all honesty I don't care about anything all that much but then every night when I walk back home alone and then go to bed, I can't help but think about the other things that end up making me mellow. praveer
Uh so, she called yesterday. And now we're going to do something next week, since she's away this weekend for an audition for Star Wars and I'm away as well.

praveer
I didn't because she kept apologising over and over again for getting back so late and said that she's terrible at getting in touch with people.
