Cash Posted January 25, 2011 Report Share Posted January 25, 2011 Ok,let me get this straight for you all he is in school...which he does not go to regularly he is addicted to smoking...which he cant leave for god knows what reasons. he is addicted to gaming and spends countless hours...which is affecting his life and now he feels he is in love...things couldnt get any better 1) i dont go to school regularly because they dont teach anything there even if or when i go what all students do is sleep in class which i find my room much more confortable 2) i am not addicted to smoking,i smoke but only 4-5 times a week 3) Gaming is in control for now as i just have fifa to game now, i only does it at times like rarely 4) everyone feels love towards a good looking girl,this is just another one like that.Nothing to cry over. that is quite normal among teenagers these days but addiction to smoking at such a young age is sad i am not addicted again. missing school regularly,playing games non stop for hours,normal??? dont know..atleast i dont see the teenagers around me like this...nowadays i rather find teenagers more career oriented and serious about what they want in life...even love takes a backseat for them in front of their careers but yea i find smoking very common among them..and seen school kids sometimes with beer cans... Missing school regularly and play video games? No i dont do that,what i do is bunk school and do Business AFAIK his family owns a cigarette manufacturing company. doesnt justify his smoking at this age but that might be one of the reasons. A Beedi manufacturing company which is exactly the reason i smoke,there are Many as in many things which a beedi manufacturer should know what the smoker (the ordinary dont know).. Bird Bird Bird Posted January 25, 2011 Report Share Posted January 25, 2011 totally agree to it...plus one more reason i feel is the amount of money they have at their disposal... i feel parents try to cover their guilt of not giving that much time and attention to children nowadays by giving them lavish gifts and a big amount (compared to earlier days) to spend...and its simple,if you have money to spend more then you actually deserve or capable to handle maturely..then all these smoking drinking etc etc happens Totally agree to this. Money cannot equate love, care & devotion. And by the time they understand this, their children had already grown big, distant & indifferent towards them. Sad times That's why geriatric homes are getting more & more popular now-a-days. ^ Fatty, peer pressure only gets to you when you have low self esteem,m 17 right nw and yeah I wont deny it that its a major factor which makes teenagers smoke/drink at an early age but the thing is, it depends on the person as well, some start to like it, some dont,its all related to how much you think of yourself, you wont be bothered by the peer pressure if you have enough self esteem + good enough friends to that fact, least for me it stays that way and the worst part about all of this is to see 13-14 year old idiot's smoking, That's really a very small part of the population you are talking about. A very small part.
