godspeed4476
All in divine time, my friend. Lage Raho. I've never quite understood the relation between liquor and heartbreaks even you have mentioned it and a very close friend of mine who had to call of his relationship coz of girls parents took refuge in alcohol, now the only problem is that he earns around 19-21K per month and he goes completely bankrupt just 3days after his pay day, this is why a few of us tried consoling him coz his parents were worried about him, after repeated pleas he did not listen to me, i told him that he is a selfish bastrad for not caring about his parents and friends and he gave the same reply as you, only difference was it started with an expletive, " ******* tera time ayega toh mein tereko aisa bolunga"

Infact, a very filmy one at that. Taking refuge in alcohol whether a girl left you or your boss kicked you is simply stupid. Please take your friend to a professional counseling. He needs help. Depression can be very stubborn and my empathy there.. But, no heartbreak is worth wasting a lifetime. This I can assure you.

godspeed4476
There is nothing wrong with tea or coffee , as a matter there is nothing wrong with Cig's and Alcohols too if one abides by the limits, but i don't know why people think that they have become absolute necessity of life? every time i decline a drink or a smoke the guys who hear it for the 1st time go like and i feel like putting a telephone pole into their mouth . Normally, from what i've seen people get clinged to cig's during the college days by trying to be 'cool' and it later becomes and addiction, alcohol gets into persons life due to peer pressure and i feel that there is lack of character in a person if they start doing it for these reasons. Haha, I was at a CCD outlet the other day with a big bunch of friends... former classmates from school. And each and every one of them (I mean the guys, don't know about the girls cos they wouldn't say) from the group was boasting about drinking and when I said I didn't, they were all like I knew a guy from my friend's class once.. this dude was so addicted to drinking that he couldn't be without it when he was underage too. He used to jump over the school wall, walk 100m (metres not miles) to the nearby TASMAC shop (Tamilnadu's govt. sponsored wine shop brand) and get his fill. He would come back over the wall and slip into class during the lunch break. Bugger was crazy. Once he was totally hammered, and got caught in class when one of his teachers told the class to get the homework and he yelled "<expletive in tamil>, did you do your homework?" Cash
I have a lot of friends who drink and smoke just to act and see themselves very cool. They think drinking makes them gangster like teenagers. Edit - One guy even wears a adidas hat to a bit on the left inspired by some character in GTA i guess. and he smokes but the thing is he doesn't know how to and alll he does is mouth fa g and ask me why doesn't he get kick or high. godspeed4476
@gaurav and unknown : This is what i am concerned about, this mouth fagging and boasting soon develops into a habit without them realizing, most of the guys in my college days used to do it, thinking that it would help them to get the girls, little do the kids realise that you need a genuine intent and honest attitude to cover that part

praveer
Come here bro ...................... I dont do cig's , beer , liquor , not even tea or coffee and even my professor asked me right in front of the class "how do i live?" I was the same, no coffee/tea, cigs etc etc....5 months ago. Now I am 'almost' the same, since I've started having liquor....but only to celebrate. Considering the environment I live in it would be VERY odd for me to not drink atleast occasionally, and I fully understand that somewhere down the road I WILL go on and try a drug or two (or maybe most of them), infact I myself want to give them a try atleast once just for experience (I have a VERY strong will power so I know I won't get addicted).....but I will NEVER NEVER NEVER start to smoke cigs, sheesha, weed or any other drug that you have to inhale, I've resisted for 8 years straight and I plan to do that for the rest of my life !
