Bulovski Posted January 22, 2009 Report Share Posted January 22, 2009 The demo is so SHORT - arghh - but loved it. The animation is absolutely top notch and the sounds are oh so cute. I am going to buy it - at 800 points (rs 550) itsa nice. The textures could've been upgraded a bit though - and the camera is infuriating. There's no way to die and you'll not be stuck anywhere - at least from the one hour I played. Let's see if I can finish it today and get a review up. You could move it anywhere you wanted to so it never obstructed play. Bulovski Posted January 22, 2009 Report Share Posted January 22, 2009 @key - wait till the maw gets large and then you'll realize why the camera sucks. also, because you can never see above the horizon it takes some time to figure out where to go in a couple of levels. couple of hours in and the Maw has filled up the screen. love the little touches - the Maw is now so large that the alien cannot pull it properly, so he's slowed down a lot. i need to finish this game now - just for the theme! It's not LBP at all, and the only relation to Katamari is the maw growing by eating stuff. The puzzles are not crazy tough because of liberal hints. What I had mistaken as poor quality textures turned out to be high quality painted textures made to look like old world textures. The game oozes cuteness and the alien shouting out 'Mawwww' is the only voice you'll hear. The 2-3 hours spent are amazing. At 800 points you get a very good game, very nice theme, a few gamerpics and easy achievements. A lot of thought went into the game - the animations are painstakingly done, simply see the maw eating snails in their shells.
