0verlord Posted July 24, 2023 Report Share Posted July 24, 2023 I think No cost EMI preclosure can’t be chargeable because the bank isn’t losing money either ways 1) pay whole amount upfront and bank can use that money to lend to others 2) pay the no cost EMIs over time, the interest component is already considered by the bank as upfront discount to seduce you to buy if fact when I bought LG 55C2, my no cost EMI loan was never converted EMIs, I’ll be paying the whole swipe amount at the next bill date it’s the normal EMIs, that are chargeable 3% if you preclose, where bank stands to lose money which is why they charge for preclosure if you haven’t different thoughts please comment Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This appliances EMI loan is showing in my HDFC net banking but C2 purchase is showing as the swiped amount in my last month statement, no loan in net banking or any email or message of emi conversion one thing I did call customer care a few days after I swiped for C2 because NCEMI loan was taking more time to convert than usual and also told him I wanted to preclose I was speaking to @Assassins Creed during the whole C2 NCEMI episode Edited July 24, 2023 by 0verlord Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
