Ordered a Sandisk extreme card, will keep my fingers crossed and hope that this batch of Ally is not burning sd cards. Have a L shape 2230 to 2280 adapter on the way from ebay, should come mid to late Jan. Will be modding it to 4TB version. If sd card survives till then, then it will be 5TB version of ROG Ally. Had good fun yesterday playing Cricket 24 and WWE23 on it. Any suggestions for a good case, ROG official case is a rip off. No protection at all. Proper waste of money. Lasts like 2 hours or a bit more depending on the game. I mostly stream games from the PC - and can do it at 10W TDP. I am happy with the battery life trade for better performance since a lot of game I play used to look grainy and run at 30 FPS or poor on Steam Deck. They stopped shipping to India and amazon India only has SteamDeck cases from jsaux there. Spigen case looks like best second option but it doesnt have space for powerbank like jsaux.
