Ethan_Hunt
Guys I have finally decided to take the plunge for getting a 360 (can't believe it ). My query regarding the VGA cable is the cost & how can I connect it to my Viewsonic E96f+Sb CRT 19 inch monitor?
Weird
BUy the connector get female to female vga converter then at one end connect monitor other your cable then buy a connector for audio it'll be usually available with any of the electronic shop with 2 inputs and 3.5mm jack single out for pic refer above posts. If you want a multipurpose then go for external tv tuner card you can connect it directly to monitor and enjoy..........

Ethan_Hunt
What should I tell them as most of them act like complete dumb dolts? Â Also is there any cheap VGA HD AV cable that I can get apart from the MS one?
rahul
Female to female VGA adapter. What's dumb in that to understand? I think you are looking in the wrong shop if they dont understand that. Â And a cheap alternative for the offical M$ VGA cable would be the Dragon VGA cable available at play-asia.com. Weird
@Ethan Where are you from? If you go to any electronic shop which specifically sells the cables and connectors it's easy to get. And any computer hardware shop who does servicing and selling he'll provide with both adapters.
Ethan_Hunt
I'm from Mumbai. I need this only for 1-2 months as after that I'll be getting a Full HD LCD. So till then, this would have to suffice. Also I wasn't able to locate that Dragon VGA HD AV cable that Rahul mentioned. Could someone post it's link or where can I find or order one in Mumbai? Ethan_Hunt
But something is better than nothing do you have an lcd monitor or crt ??? I mentioned it earlier, it's a CRT. If it were a LCD then it would have been a whole lot easier. It's just a temporary arrangement until I get a Full HD LCD in a month or 2.

Ethan_Hunt
I just checked the comments for that cable & seems like it has some dodgy reviews. They say the ghosting problem arises after sometime, which I'm not ready to accept at any point. Any other alternative?
