HIM Posted March 16, 2008 Report Share Posted March 16, 2008 hey ,,,,,,,,,, i bought the cable !! now there is a a switch on one side of the cable ! the one dat goes in the console!! now in the original cable that we GET with the console that switch is for tv output or hd output.!! wt does the switch in this cabel do !! and also in every game i have played i get a black patch oo top and bottom of the screen which makes the screen really small!! no matter wt resolution i select !! if there a way to come over it !! gpt Posted May 6, 2008 Report Share Posted May 6, 2008 a few ppl have been asking what the hd15 coupler (female to female looks like): V i finally got my dragon vga from pa and even managed to get the rca thingy ... all i get is blank faces whn i ask for hd15 ff coupler... asked in a lot of shops. i wanted to kno whether thers sum common name or sumtin by which its called..... also if anyone knows any shop in hyd to buy it from. also i saw it online for 2$ ... how much does it cost here ... is it worth importing. Bulovski Posted May 6, 2008 Report Share Posted May 6, 2008 ok - so i checked. maybe others have said this before me. you need a female to female connector. yup - same pic that is shown in the page before. but instead of throwing letters and numbers at them, take the dragon cable to a computer repair shop. explain that you need to shove this in your CRT monitor but since that cable also has pins it won't go, and you need a converter. or take a printout of the connector in the last page. hopefully he will understand. and he might have one around. else, he might be able to make you one. or you can get hold of an electronics grad student and hope he will be able to make you one. checked on ebay india and best buy - drew a blank.
