You need a' male to male' converter for the VGA cable. And you need a 'RCA to stereo' converter for the audio. I think you better take the cable with you to the market. It's easy to find these things at lamington rd but dunno where to find it in delhi.

the cable supplied by MS is a HD VGA cable..what would also matter is ur monitor..

if its a SD monitor or a HD monitor.. if its the later then there is nothing to worry..

Hi Guys,

I know there is already a thread for VGA Cable, my query is bit different.

I have bought the VGA Cable (original one) and got it working on my monitor at some 1300 odd resolution (2nd last one from the list)

But now, every time I want to play, I need to take out VGA cable connecting to the computer and plugin XBOX one in.. now, this has become kind of irritating process. Is there any device which will allow me to switch between both? (PC and Console?)

And also, how to get the PC speakers working? The connector which comes with the VGA cable just has an option to single pin somewhere in the system unit.. but I am still not able to figure out how to get the pc speakers working. (And also the same problem like display will arise here.. switching between PC and Console)

Any ideas?

Regards,

Deep

i had the same problem...i bought this

pa.108829.2.jpg

the image should explain how it works

there are two inputs - you connect your PC's VGA cable and sound connection in one and 360's vga and sound connection in the other

there is one output - it connects to your monitor and the sound output goes to your speakers/headphones

there is a switch that you use to alternate between PC and Xbox 360

peace
