axisjump
well, gaming in Indis is not big enough a market yet...so the chances of a Reliance jumping on to renting games are almost nil. Though I have heard that through Zapak they plan to open up a lot more gaming parlors in the country... A friend of mine uses them, but not the monthly unlimited package. He gets something like 1 game for 4-5 days at Rs. 250 rental. He says you can even buy games from them, and they are amenable to sort of "pre-ordering" - if there's a game coming up for release, they will try to get their suppliers to get a copy for you. Over-and-all the impression I have is that the people seem nice and trustworthy, but the effort is just too small-scale to make a huge difference. We need a big company with lots of capital (Reliance, Airtel) or a established video rental service (Seventymm, Reliance) to really make waves. Lets see.. Yeah Captain Nemo , I too called them when they first started this service in Delhi , really stupid of them not to provide service in such a vast and populated area like Rohini , they really are missing on a lot of business in Rohini as I am sure there are plenty of gamers in Rohini. They cant, because if the big companies can get sued AFAIK it is not legal to rent games without permission of the publisher,it is there in the EULA and to get the license to rent you need a lot of $$
