Bul, I'm probably gonna take a day off tomorrow, got a wedding to attend but should be back home by 11:00 pm. Can you be online at that time? piksdevil
Guys, Any idea how big is this game. I just finished killing 9 toes. I am searching for jobs in the town
Zeitgeist
From what I've played so far... you've just scratched the surface of the game.
spindoctor
I asked this before and I ask this again... anyone playing right now? PC version I mean. i started it, but i have no interest in playing single player at all. this game is meant to be played in co-op, so i'm kind of waiting for the retail pc release here next week. then everyone can legitimately get their hands on it and then we can get down to some co-op action. Tyler
Awesome! Pick Roland or Brick if possible.
Tyler
Does anyone know how I can send weapons directly to my inventory without equipping them? When I hit X (pick up), the game just swaps my current weapon with the one I just picked up. This is quite irritating as after that i have manually swap it back from my inventory. I checked for a preference setting but looks like there isn't any. BTW, Got the answer to this... Holding X equips the weapon while tapping it send it to the inventory. Silly me, I kept holding X all the time. @spindoc... I dunno about you but I'm having fun with the game while playing alone as well. Yes the quests aren't as interesting as a pure RPG but I am a huge lover of the level up/collect loot/equip/sell/rinse repeat style of play (in other words, I enjoy grinding and looting) so I am hooked. The FPS combat is pure win, the guns are awesome and the shooting feels extremely satisfying thanks to the responsive controls. I know the co-op is where it's at but even solo play isn't all that shabby.
nash
Guys, Any idea how big is this game. I just finished killing 9 toes. I am searching for jobs in the town From what I hear you can get at least 40 hrs from the game easy. And like Oreo said, you've just scratched the surface. nine Toes is the first Boss fight. i started it, but i have no interest in playing single player at all. this game is meant to be played in co-op, so i'm kind of waiting for the retail pc release here next week. then everyone can legitimately get their hands on it and then we can get down to some co-op action. Dude level the soldier up a bit and join Nik, Oreo and me tomorrow night. Two Soldiers + Two Sirens FTW!

nash
That would be epicsauce! Except... I should really get to atleast level 25 or something. Shouldn't take too long. You already hit 22 with us today so a bit of solo grinding should get you there in no time.
Tyler
Leveling up is pretty quick... at least in the beginning. I must've reached lvl 10 in about a little more than 2 hours. There's always plenty of things to kill and lots of things to kill them with
nash
It gets a lot slower once you cross 20.
Bulovski
1.5 hrs - Level 7 - first boss fight over. I love it so far. Playing as a Siren (I didn't read Ty's message till now). It's addictive, the game demands that you loot, and the combat is good ole run and shoot. Money is easy to come by and so is XP. I wish holding X would pick up all the loot in the area. Now I have to move the cursor over a piece of loot first and then keep holding X. I am enjoying playing the game solo - that does mean it will require a bit of grinding. Tomorrow morning I will play another couple of hours and try to hit level 10 so I can play with Ty. The Siren's invisible walk is nice.
Tyler
Cool! Siren should be good enough I guess at least I can stare at her a*s. BTW I have the same problem with the X button. I wish it would just collect all. In fact ammo should be automatically picked up. There's no reason why anyone would want to leave it lying around given there are no weight restrictions or anything like that.
Zeitgeist
Siren is really fun. Especially with the Phoenix talent.
Bulovski
son.of.a.beeeeeeeeeeeeeech!!! I was leveling up the Siren nicely in the morning - and even finished a couple of side quests - and bam power went. TWICE!!! It's frustrating that there's no manual save. Don't worry, same thing happened to me twice. The game saves very frequently. I don't think it should set you back too far. BTW, I'm lvl 18 (almost 19) now. Found this awesome sniper rifle which does 266 damage and 200% critical damage...

Some like me don't like playing it alone while some like Tyler here are tripping balls solo. If you have some one to play with, it's fckin epic. Co-op is drop in and out so even if you start playing solo after a co-op game (or vice versa) your level is saved. And as far as gameplay is concerned it's really like playing a solid shooter with minor RPG elements. Lots of fun.
