^^ yup u can ... the problem with joining a random game is that if u join a person @ lvl 50, ur gonna level up like crazy .... more then u would like to + all his advanced quests become active for u as well .... so i suggest u join someone who is on teh same level as u are on .. give or take a couple of levels .. im on level 15 or 16 right now ...

crap!!! ths game is a lot tougher then it looks ... got my a*s beaten bad .. very bad ... and i havnt even approached teh main boss yet .. :| ... fukin psycho midgets .. the are just onto u even before u notice them + the huge brutes .. forgot wat they are called ..

@ ty!!!

i havnt killed Sledge yet

.. :| .. i thought i will finish off with side quests first and level grind b4 proceeding to teh boss .. even his minions are so tough .. so better not take any chances .. :wOOtjumpy:

Yup, the game is quite challenging at times. But once you level up and go just a couple (or even one) level higher than the enemies, you'll have no trouble. Some encounters are pretty tough (of course in a good way). It's quite rewarding to finally clear an area/boss that was giving you trouble. Also, the checkpoints are quite generous I'd say. It never set me too far back after a death. I can live with the 7% cash loss.

Damn! PC version cannot come any sooner! I'm missing the game :(

@ peapha - enemies aren't that tough as you make em sound, but yeah if you encounter an enemy who is even one level above you and you try to keel him then its gonna be a bit of challenge as the weapons don't deal that much damage to an enemy above your level as they do to an enemy below or of your same level.

And more than the psycho midgets i find those bugs(scynths whatever there name is ??) more irritating they just keep looking for a piece of your ace  ....... Also psycho midgets weren't much of a problem anyways ... why are they bothering you so much ??

And BoneHead was a bitch sure but the baddest bitch i encountered so far is that Rakk(forgot his name again :wOOtjumpy: - he is the one which we have to kill by lighting up the torches in arid badlands ??)

I just pimped up to the same level. Got some side quests from the Claptrap, as Tyler suggested. Although died insane amount of times in the Skag Crystal collection side quest and mind you this was in co-op. I won't dare play it in solo. It's really tough. BTW I upgraded to the incendiary sniper. Although the Alpha Skags and some larger Skags still don't die easily. :threatenlumber:

Wish we could just run them all over with the vehicle. :D

Alpha Skags and BADASS Skags (lol) they are a bitch to kill .. tinbin!!! .. the enemies are tough .. no second thought about it ... but as with all RPGs, there is nothing a lil leveling up cant handle .. :D ... one particular type of grunt .. i emptied my entire assault rifle ammo into him and he still kept on coming .. the difficulty i was complaining about is more to do with my ammo running out then the toughness of the enemies .. i usually never use a shotgun or an SMG in any game ... but here, due to ammo constraints, im forced to .. thank god teh game is quite generous wen it comes to money ...

I always fill up my ammo an the vending machines and invariably run into an ammo crate the next turn :threatenlumber:

Mothrakk!

Damn that was my most epic fight in the game! Took nearly 30 minutes to bring that bastard down. I felt so badass after that!

Skags - hit them in mouth when they open it to scream and pounce at you , guarantied crit.

Alpha Skags - Heavy armor in front try hitting with corrosive weapon/grenade or circle behind them and shoot them in a*s. Same strategy for spider-ants , though i mostly run them over with the vehicle.

Also dont try to tackle enemies which are more 2levels higher , this game doesnt reward you for that ,it expects you to do quests which are close to your level.

@Tyler: Mothrakk was epic indeed infact I found it to be tougher then all the bosses i have encountered till now (nine-toes /Sledge/Krom ) .
