Why hasnt M$ revealed details of the GTA IV DLC yet ?

Ya, it's out. Just queued it in download Queue, 1.8 GB.

It should be better worth 1600 MSPoints and the bandwidth...

 

BTW first 800 to buy and download would get 1000 MSPoints :lol:

So the GTA : Lost and Damned IGN (UK) review is out

 

Score---- 8.6.... Ok but i expected more ...still... a good review overall!!

Here are some lines from the IGN review

Claims of Rockstar's DLC offering a 12 hour campaign really aren't far off the mark – this is a substantial expansion that pushes the boundaries of what's been achieved with downloadable content on Xbox Live to date. Think of this not as a mere mission pack; The Lost and Damned states a compelling case for being considered a standalone game .

 

And finally:

9.0 Presentation

Menus are reskinned with edgier fonts to mimic the feel of Johnny's quest, and it's a trick that works.

8.5 Graphics

Unfortunately, the decision to apply a heavy filter does much to mask GTA's beauty. Thankfully, it's optional.

9.0 Sound

New tracks are added to L.C.H.C and Liberty Rock, all complementing perfectly the new content.

8.5 Gameplay

There's nothing here to persuade naysayers, but for the converted it's a well produced expansion.

9.0 Lasting Appeal

12 hours of single player campaign represents commendable value, and it's bolstered by new multiplayer modes.

8.6

Great OVERALL

Reviews are comming.....slowly....Gamespot review is underway

Gamespot says :

Downloadable content isn't something that we review right now, but that doesn't mean that we don't have anything to say about a release as significant as the first downloadable episode for Grand Theft Auto IV. If you've come here looking for a recommendation on whether or not you should buy The Lost and Damned, the short answer is that if you enjoyed GTA IV I can't think of a better way for you to spend $20 when it hits Xbox Live tomorrow

GTA: lost and Damned currently has 90% scores as per metacritc.com based on 16 reviews!

 

Almost all are saying its great..... and worth spending $20 on!

 

Team Xbox - 97

Sets an amazing standard for what downloadable content can do. It doesn’t just extend the GTA IV experience, but actually builds upon it while feeling fresh and different. If you’re a GTA fan it’s a must-play.
