Why hasnt M$ revealed details of the GTA IV DLC yet ?

got the game at 430 am ..The Game has Loding times.. but as per r* there shud be no loading times.. gotta figure this out.. The Graphics is Awesome.. Details are amazing... Best is Lighting.. Niko looks Great.. just been doing some sight seeing :furious:

Brotha....Played the game..and it sure kicksa$$

 

- Visuals Highly improved (The city/environments/lighting WOW!!!!)

- Niko is a one fuk*** a*s

- Vehicle Control >> good (Vehicle Damage - Spot on)

- Shooting control (needs some practice with the new mode lock and shoot)

- Camera Angles - Roxx great different views

- Dialogues (Da usual bad mouthed stuff...ahem..love to blast the speakers..and let the neighbours listen to em as well)

- Combat (GRRR...no kicks this time as far as i played...the hand to hand combat will take some guys to get used to ..but once u know the trick u will like it)

- Radio stations (love em..some good tracks)

- Cellphone use (love the functionality)

- New* U can pick up stuff on streets and use them.. like u can pick bricks and fling em !!!

 

Datz it for now......juz played for an hour+ !!! This game is a sure contender for GOTY!! A game that finally lives to the HYPE !!!

 

One game to keep me occupied till MGS4!!! Lovin this Summer !!!!!

^^@ baba!!! the game is being distributed in India by e-xpress .. so its they who supply the games to Shival Electronics as well. So no chance of getting GTA 4 @ Shivam Electronics or anywhere else b4 we get it ... unless the seller is importing it directly from abroad. and i dont think Shivam or Origin does that ...

Grand Theft Auto IV is now a week or so away from being in your local shop, and it's easy to imagine a legion of gamers waiting patiently to buy the game. But for which system? 1UP had a chance to sit down with Sam Houser, president of Rockstar Games, and he discussed what it was like working with both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. The game presented some difficulty on both platforms.

 

Xbox 360

 

"The strength of the 360 is a very, very accessible, familiar, effective environment to work in. You're making the game from the get-go, everyone understands its PC environment—boom, off we go. It's pretty good. One of the problems with the 360, and it affects games like Grand Theft Auto if you think about how much content we put in the actual machine, is the fact that they don't have a significantly larger storage medium than the previous systems. It's a slightly bigger DVD disc."

 

He also described the issue of not having a hard drive in every system as "complicated."

 

PlayStation 3

 

"Getting things running on the PS3 initially was challenging. I think it was challenging for a lot of companies, but it's also a machine where, now that we've got comfortable with it—I don't want to say we've cracked it, but we've got comfortable with it—we know we can make our games. We're at a point now where the games pretty much look identical side by side. There's a slight difference in the way they look... There's a certain kind of softness without being blurry—some warmth to it—and then there's a certain more clinical element to how the 360 looks. Both have plusses and minuses. As far as I'm concerned, they're neck and neck now."

 

I keep hearing this from developers: people are finally getting comfortable with the PlayStation 3 and things are going to start being pretty even across the board in terms of multi-system releases. One of the major things Houser is worried about is disc size, and it's something that Microsoft doesn't have an easy fix for.

 

"If we're filling up the disc right now, where are we going?" Houser asked 1UP. "It's not like our games are going to get any smaller."
