Has anyone been able to integrate their GT with the Social Club and see the stats on the social club website?? I associated my GT 2 days back.. but still my stats have not been uploaded.

When I click on GTA 4 under games.. it just gives a message like "Sorry, In order to access this you must've played GTA 4 while connected to an online platform" which I've been doing for the past 3 days!! Anyone else tried this out?

i can.... it took me some time though ...didn't accept at first but eventually did - i think it is given there that it takes about 48 or sth hrs for the server to upload the game data.... but nonetheless it is quite slow...when i completed the story it took about 4-5 days for the social club to show it on the website

For those who might miss this -

Lazlow is back! Guys, you have got to check out the radio station called "Integrity". It is frickin' hilarious!! I'm not sure if this station is available from the beginning, but I remember there was mention of Lazlow on some talk show saying that he's going to come up with a new radio station called "Integrity". And the tagline goes something like - "Lazlow is back.. to regain his Integrity" :roflroll2:

The concept of the station is that Lazlow goes around LC interviewing people, asking for their views about the state of the city. I'd jacked a car and was going to my mission destination and the radio was preset to "Integrity". The conversations were so funny that I actually skipped the mission marker and continued to drive around just to listen to it till the end.

what i loved was finding a random piece of dirt floating around in the air and i chases it for a while, until i got run over by a car.

the only station i can bear is JBR and Journey.the TV shows are generally lame, but the men's room has its moments.

the car steering is actually great, for me better than any previous GTA title.

but right now, it more an elmore leonard story than the francis ford copolla epic film every one was making it out to be.

How can I turn off the radio? When I press the left button on the D Pad, it just shows me the different radio stations but not how to switch off the radio.

If you haven't purchased GTA IV yet, then do yourself a favor and dont watch too many gameplay videos or read too many reviews, it'll just hype up this game to a point where you'll be kind of disappointed. I wouldn't rate it as a 10/10 but it definately deserves around a 9.

The game is gorgeous (360 version, havent played the PS3), I'm sorry sam, I have to disagree but just the shear scale of things and the painstaking attention to details in the environment sets this apart from most games out today. Just little things like driving under a bridge and having small patches of light bathe your car, or the slight fog that accompanies a rain storm, or even just a blotch of blood that stains the side of the screen as you kill someone just immerses you in this amazing gameworld.

A large number of missions are a bit dissapointing. I havent gone too far into the game so ignore this if im speaking a load of bull, but it seems that most the missions ive done so far...are just drive here and kill this just in different varriations, there is of course extremely clever missions such as

The mission where you must kill this individual in hiding, except the only way he'll come out of hiding is if you date him...so you set up an account on a dating site and etc. etc.

. More missions like this would have been great, but alas...maybe DLC? However the dialouge is great, Niko is a genuinely funny guy who's dialogue isnt too cheesy to class him under comic relief. Bruice has to be my favorite character so far, he has this dane cook sort of feel about him and Just talking to him is entertaining within itself.

The Driving is actually, pretty cool, I cant drive for my life in video games, but there's just something about going really quickly, slamming the breaks and doing a 180 that just sets this apart from the other GTAs. Although the driving does need getting used to, when you do, you'll definately love driving.

My Biggest quirp in this game is the police... Nothing is wrong with the AI...it's just escaping from a 4 star wanted level or whatnot is laughably easy to the point where you just have to groan everytime you lose your star level. Dane cook remarked about this a while ago in one of his stand up routines, and this game does it more than any of the others. I cant remember his exact routine but it was something like:

"I love Grand theft auto. If you commit a crime all you have to do is crouch and hide behind a dumpster...for like 30 seconds and the police will call off their search, they'll just be like "f**k it, he's probably in mexico by now" "

Ack! Where are the epic police chases, hiding, fighting off police from your safe house, driving in a gunned down car looking for a pay 'n' spray. Makes me a little nostalgic y'know?

My NAT is strict so i have nothing on MP.

And I have a little question for those of you who have played this for a bit...but for the radio stations such as "PLR" that have talkshows...do they ever get new dialogue? For some reason the only show that seems to be on is the one on "HMO's and the health industry."

^^agree with shicko.

a lot of what i have loved so far is the city-scape rather than the game play.the rain storms,

those steaming man-holes, and fog after the uncle vlad level, sunsets on streets of Bohan.

surprisingly I've figured out most of the story already, & i'm only 12% through it.

I'm guessing its no coincidence that faustus and dmitri worked in the army, and nico ends up with them.

reason for spoiler: major story-line reveal, atleast I think so

man this game totally amazing...done close to 60%...i must say it is fantastic...

the way R* has created LC is truly amazing...

Q]does the % completed mean the main story-line/story-arc or does it include the entire thing(like package delivery's for jakob, cab driving for Roman, socialising and advancing the dialogues ).

finished about 17% of the game about now, doing the gay-hitman mission.

just escaped my first 4-star police chase.easy.drive fast and towards a pay-and-spray.

god, when are they going to open up the rest of the areas! But love the depth of the characters, faustin, the conversations with his wife, manny and roman.superb.

I think the R* top brass needs to have a serious sit down sooner rather than later. They have the storytelling cred but haven't really been able to expand on mission design as much as they needed too.

Sure they've got a cover system now, the game world is better than any other open-world game, the weaponry is beefier than before and we all know how good the physics code is. But the missions themselves, apart from a handful of standouts, are just variations of the same busywork we've been doing for years now.

I'm sure they're seeing the limitations of the medium but not thinking of ways to work around those limitations like good developers should.
