Why hasnt M$ revealed details of the GTA IV DLC yet ?

GTA IV leads Games for Windows Christmas push

 

Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto IV will be released on PC in November as an exclusive Games for Windows – Live title.

 

The Games for Windows brand is two year's old, with the Live service deemed the perfect fit for GTA IV's online play, according to Rockstar founder Sam Houser.

 

"We're incredibly proud of the deep, customisable multiplayer experience that Grand Theft Auto IV offers players," commented Houser.

 

"As we work toward the release of the PC version, Games for Windows – Live affords us the opportunity to seamlessly translate the multiplayer console experience for PC gamers. The service is a natural fit for the platform and we strongly believe it will help in building a strong online community around GTA IV PC."

 

Other titles to be released under the Games for Windows – Live brand before the end of the year include Bethesda's Fallout 3, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II from THQ and Activision's James Bond: Quantum of Solace.

 

"Great Windows-based games like Grand Theft Auto IV, Fallout 3 and Dawn of War II are proof that Microsoft is delivering on its promise to provide the best possible PC gaming experience on Windows," offered Kevin Unangst, senior global director of Windows gaming at Microsoft.

 

"We are engaged with our community and listen attentively to their needs and concerns. With their input our platform has continued to evolve, and we’re proud of the marked improvement the Games for Windows program has brought to PC gaming in its first two years."

btw, for getting those trophies, do we need to play game again? coz i already kompleted it 100%

 

shud b.... gives me yet another reason 2 take a crack at the game.... hopefully this time i can get past 10% :D

New GTA 4 PC details revealed in The Game Machine

 

 

Well it has been over a month since anyone last saw anything new on the PC version. However it appears the Italian magazine "The Game Machine" has had a sneak peak and revealed some new details :-

 

* The replay editor will record the last 30 seconds of gameplay. Once the video has been saved you can use inbuilt software in GTA 4 to add special effects and change camera angles. You will also be able to add audio tracks from the official soundtrack of the game (no word on whether you can use your own MP3's). Once your video is done it can then be published on Rockstars Social Club site so others can watch it.

* The GPS and map have been beefed up, thanks to the mouse it is now just point and click. However Rockstar have added the ability for you to mark locations, make notes and add images. That should make hunting those pesky pigeons a bit easier.

* The other important bit of information is that Rockstar have managed to improve the game streaming, thanks to the power of the cpu in modern PC's. This means less of the "same car syndrome" in which you would see lots of the same car you are driving. The magazine is also claiming that there will be more pedestrians and vehicles visible in the PC version

does anyone know the system requirements for the pc version.....

 

 

here is the Sys requirement ..
