Ok shd have posted this a couple of days earlier but here goes

11 hours and 25% game completion later what i can gladly say is that this is my favourite gta game and a major reason for that is the story. The story in this game is a much more personal, you are no longer some mofo who listens to some dickhead and does a mission. this is bellic's story, his arrival, his struggle his dilemma, his rise etc is excellently written and sucks you in. The choice of an immigrant coming into this city and being the main character is a masterstroke. Since im not an american i can actually identify with the character and this is where rockstar win.

The city itself is so amazing with lots of care given to even smaller details like paying toll to cross the bridge etc

The graphics are good and being a big framerate wh*re i can say they are perfectly acceptable but there are moments when it falls and the textures could be a bit sharper but it takes nothing away from what rockstar has achieved.also didnt notice much tearing but there is lots of clipping.

No New GTA Game Planned for 2009

 

 

For the past couple of days there have been rumours circulating around the net that we might see a new GTA game by the end of this year. It would seem Rockstar are keen to quash this rumours and have reported to kotaku that there will be NO NEW GTA game this year :-

 

according to parent company Take-Two Interactive, But there is "no truth" to reports that a wholly new retail game, one on par with the scope of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, will arrive before the holidays.

 

Naturally this does not include already announced GTA's such as Chinatown Wars and the DLC for the Xbox 360

yeah heard about that........but is'nt it early for GTA5.......or another expansion (well.......... "expansion" is not the right word) for all the platforms like Vice city and San andrias!

 

We'll do just fine with 2 GTA expansions on 360!!!
