getting this is a better idea because i'll end up getting 1000 points for free.....but first, i need to get my disc back from a friend and finish the main game

^^ I wouldn't recommend braid, some of the puzzles are so damn hard Its a good game, but not for everybody....only for those with a taste for puzzle solving ! Also, u have road rash style racing in GTA IV: L&D

oh okie, then u might like the game. i bought the game after the playing the demo too....the the full game has some damn tough puzzles !

Did you like run through every mission? I took 8 hrs to finish story mode with a few side quests thrown in.

 

Anyone else feel Rockstar's taken a small teeny little cue from SR2 making missions a lot more over-the-top and awesome in the process?

Yeah. More or less 8 hrs for me too for story missions. A big thanks to mission checkpoint and call the backup buddies systems, some of the hard missions were finished in max 2 attempts....

Side missions, basically Gang wars, are actually not important/fun IMO.

In between I spent good amount of time in Bike races, whacking the bikers off their bike is too cool

^^ hey man, that calling backup isn't working for me Whenever I call Terry/Clay I don't get the 'backup' option at all. I got it for the mission where u steal bikes, but after that the option is not to be seen !

well in the bike stealing mission, the guys who came for help died. could that be the reason ?
